There was no way for us to not have Myles on someone's birthday. I was scheduled for repeat c-section 6/22, my mom's b-day. He came 6/17 on my cousin's birthday. He was due on my dad's, SIL's, and SMIL's birthday. There were 3-4 days in June that wasn't someone's birthday.

I have never been induced, but DD was 5 days late and born on my birthday last year. As my birthday approached I was all "I'm going to be in labor on my birthday, just watch, waaaa! This kid won't have their own birthday!"
Now I love it!
This year I got to pick what I wanted for my birthday dinner on the weeknight it fell on, etc., and we did her 1st birthday party on the weekend and made a big deal on that date. We figure the party date is what matters to a kid, and it feels sort of special.
So, go ahead and get comfortable with the idea of it, maybe even decide you like it, then boom, you'll go into labor early on your own, because that's how babies seem to work!
Totally anecdotal, of course, but I was induced with both of my kids and both were born on the same day the procedure began. DD #1 cut it close, arriving at 11:17PM, but it also wasn't a scheduled procedure so I didn't get sent to the hospital until after lunch and once there I spent my first several hours having a contraction stress test before my OB decided on starting a full-on induction (the test was to determine whether to do that or an emergency c-section) so that added time. And #2 was born exactly 5 1/2 hours from when my doctor started the Pitocin. Good luck!
You really are my due date twin... I was just booked for my induction on the 22nd at 8am! No signs of labor here. DH's birthday is on the 25th and he thought it would be really neat to have the same birthday as the baby but I want it to have it's own birthday.
Maybe you will go into labor this weekend then you don't have to worry about the whole birthday situation.
