Tman asked me to send him a care package to camp. I did actually put one in the mail on Saturday (his camp goes from yesterday to Thursday), but he is going to another camp later this summer, and I'd like to start thinking of some stuff I can send him them since this one was just kind of thrown together last minute. I don't want to spend a lot or have it be very big. He is at a fun camp afterall not like boot camp and they have a store they can buy snacks in and stuff. He is not allowed to have gum.
This is what I put in the one I sent Saturday:
Swedish Fish (not sure if he will eat these) Pocky (he loves this, but it might melt/get broken) Swim goggles Glow Sticks Water balls (toys for the pool) Finger nerf rocket thingies
We had a little store at the summer camp I used to go to. But sometimes my mom would send me candy from the our local candy shop, Archie comics, stickers probably, little notebook and gel pens (come on, it was the 90s).
I've seen like little boxes of sunshine. Where there is a bunch of yellow/orange themed items which I thought was cute, and like IK said the madlibs I think he would like

Foam water guns? These flashing rings (we've brought these camping for all the kids)? What about a treasure hunt of things he should find to bring home to you? (cool rock, pine cone, etc.) A journal?
I don't have a specific suggestions but I would totally just take a shipping box to archie mcfees and fill it up with the random stuff they have + snacks.

Here is one more suggestion along the lines of a journal. I have the girl version of this for Ellie, and it is meant to be passed back and forth between mom and child. Offers an easy and non-confrontational way to share feelings, things going on in your/his life, funny stories, etc. www.amazon.com/Between-Mom-Me-Mother-Journal/dp/1633360172?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0
