WTF? They're "counting the ballots." Why do they need to that with an internet voting system?

I don't know how serious this contest is (I just voted for the cute cat), but yes some contests will validate votes. The issue comes from people purchasing votes from fake profiles to win contests. The girl I was up against for my lasik contest did this. She purchased a ton of votes the night before the contest ended.

I don't know yet. The rules when I entered said the winners would be notified by email, but didn't say when. No email yet.

Last night at midnight Tokyo was up over 70 votes (I have a screenshot, but I fucked up and accidentally hit refresh on Sweet Pea after voting closed, so no screenshot showing him, or Groucho behind).


Now we wait.
