Long weekend ahead! What are your plans?

Tomorrow we're getting a new sofa delivered, woot! Our old one broke a few weeks ago. S starts a basketball skills class, since she has decided she is a sporty girl.

Saturday and Sunday involve a laundry list of household items that need tending to. I feel like our house is out of control at the moment. Sunday is fireworks in our town, and our friend who lives 2 doors down from the festivities usually invites a bunch of people over to hang out. Then we walk over to the fireworks, and go back to her house for dessert while everyone else clears out of the parking lot

Monday we're going to do something family-centric. I believe DH mentioned mini golf

I'm on vacation starting tomorrow, wooohoooo!

One of our good friends who lives in Saudi Arabia is coming to visit for a couple nights. We only get to see her every few years so I'm pretty excited Tomorrow also happens to be DH's birthday so we're grabbing a nice dinner and meeting a bunch of friends out for bowling.

Sunday morning we head to the in-laws. We're going to hike the mountain near their house Sunday, and then enjoy the small-town 4th of July festivities Monday. We're heading home Tuesday.

Next week will be a mix of relaxing and day trips. I want to bike out to Walden Pond one day to swim, and maybe go to one of the beaches on the North Shore another day. Can't wait!

Tomorrow I'm out of work early at 2pm. I'll probably come home and relax, maybe go to the pool if it's not stormy. I may start painting our master bathroom cabinets if I feel like it.

Saturday morning I'm going for a long run. Then DH and I are painting our guest bedroom. I think I'm meeting up with a new potential friend for coffee as well in the afternoon.

Sunday, I'm either going for a run or long bike ride depends on how I feel when I wake up. And probably more painting.

Monday, either going for a run or going to a charity 50k bike ride. I think we are going to a minor league baseball game in the evening with friends as well.

DH and I are going on a date tomorrow afternoon/evening. It's been too long!

Saturday DH has to work and I might swing by a party with DS.

Sunday will be fireworks. The band DH directs plays before the fireworks so we'll do that. Fingers crossed that DS will be ok (we have noise canceling headphones for him).

Monday we're hosting a pool party. Should be fun!

We just got back from 5 days in the White Mountains. It was a pretty good trip, our first real vacation since having DD. Sadly she got sick on the last day so we're hoping she gets better soon. I hate seeing her sick.

Funny, we both totally forgot about the long weekend so we have no plans! I think DD is too little for fireworks, although they do some in our town so maybe we will try to go. I'm kind of excited for 3 days with H home and no plans!

I don't think we have anything planned, really. I'm out at 1 o'clock today, and I cannot wait. I'm getting a pedicure tomorrow, and we were thinking about going to the Merrimack outlets on Sunday. Monday, we'll just grab steak or burgers or whatever and hang out. Ben is transitioning to one nap, so we are now Those Parents who are held hostage to their kid's nap schedule. I kind of hate it, ha.

No, I still haven't gotten my girls' weekend!  I need to plan, especially now that my H has 2 weeklong trips coming up for work in the next few months.    Seriously, he has never done an overnight with DD alone.  I think the longest he's had her alone is maybe 6 hours?  I really need to plan a trip or something.  The hardest part is finding someone to go with me.  The plan is with my sister but she's so busy it has been difficult to pick a weekend.

Ooh, I might need to hit the Merrimack outlets this weekend.  I need new work pants desperately!  

And I totally hear you on the nap schedule.  That was the hardest part of vacation, trying to plan our activities around when we thought she would nap.  Of course, she has no schedule anymore, which makes it even harder!  She was reliably on 2, but now I have no idea!  I think we are in the transition as well.
