We do a mini-breakfast at home to take the edge off, then he gets more breakfast at daycare.
Fruit+Yogurt+Granola Reheated pancake or waffle with jam on it Mooching off of whatever I eat (either a Clif bar or breakfast pastry from the grocery store bakery)
I have served most of these things at one point or another. Funny how you can get in a rut & just forget about them/can't come up with something different.
I suppose you could prep ahead of time. I eat egg casseroles that just require a few seconds in the microwave.
DS eats a scrambled egg, a pancake or waffle, and some fruit every morning. He also really loves pre-cooked sausages, which would be easy for the morning. I try to get as much protein into him first thing in the morning so that he's not starving an hour or two later.
My kids eat 2 waffles with peanut butter on them most weekend mornings. They have a snack at school/camp fairly early in the day. On weekends, they'll eat eggs and cereal or a bagel with cream cheese. Lunch is their bigger meal.

I make a double batch (about 20-25 pancakes) every few weeks and freeze them. They are dense. Loaded with fruit, oats, spinach powder, and sometimes flax. One of those heated up with maple syrup and a side of fruit is the norm. Sometimes he just has a bowl of Cheerios and berries or a bagel and cream cheese.

Bagel & cream cheese - usually Cereal (with or without milk) - when we have 'acceptable' cereal Sausage Egg Muffin (when Daddy cooks) - rarely Yogurt - rarely
Everything else they eat at breakfast has been mentioned, except sometimes I also give them Carnation instant breakfast mix in milk. The pediatrician suggested trying it when I told him DD2 has not eaten a single vegetable in 2016. She likes it well enough and calls it her chocolate milk. She's a peanut to begin with but we think she's gained two inches in the last two months, and maybe that's part of it (who knows).

E is only 1 and mostly eats breakfast at daycare but between home and there it's usually waffles, pancakes, Cheerios, fruit, yogurt, eggs, or pretty much anything I'd eat. He likes to eat some of my English muffin with peanut butter too when I give him some.
They had each had 2 huge blueberry pancakes this morning (made with Greek yogurt and oatmeal to help them be more filling), milk, a mango, and a kiwi. They were still asking for more food. Bottomless pits.
I fear for my future grocery bills when I have two teenagers in the house!

I'm happily in a breakfast rut. I gotta think of food for 1-2 other meals per day, and usually a snack. I'm cool leaving breakfast as oatmeal and fruit, with the occasional bacon as a treat. I look at it as one thing I DON'T have to plan, lol.
I need to do more cereal, though, because so many of my friends have said the best day EVAR was when their kids were old enough to pour their own cereal and milk and let Mom and Dad sleep in for an extra hour on the weekends. Sighhhhhh... heaven....
