Why is everyone so bothered by how often Caleb eats? Maybe it's because we had to fight to get Kennedy to eat? My mom and husband are constantly commenting about how he is always hungry and that something isn't normal, that he must not be getting enough, that he has to learn to be patient, etc.
Yes, he's much more demanding than Kennedy was. But all babies are different and she had a major heart defect!! We had to force her to eat, force her to wake up, etc.
It's not abnormal at all. I thought Amrlia was eating too often and asked her Dr if it's OK if she's still cluster feeding at a month old plus and he said yes it is for her. Her growth was in line so he said to keep doing exactly what we were doing.
Maybe send your mom home if she's visiting? Or ask her not to come over? Punch your H in the junk?
Some kids just eat all day, especially when they're growing. It's good for them.
My mom moved in with us to "help" because H travels all week. BIG mistake. I so cannot live with my mother. And as it turns out, she's not always helpful and she complains a lot.
In H's defense, he's mostly joking about Caleb's boob addiction. But since I get so much crap from my mom I'm a little sensitive. Lol

My son is 3.5 months and he eats very often but not in large amounts. This is one of the reasons I'm considering and most likely will stop bf'ing very soon.. because my little lovebug thinks he's at the Sizzler 24/7. I asked my pedi about it and she said it was ok. My friend's son is 5 months old and he eats A LOT. Often and large amounts. He's a big boy, we affectionately call him sumo-baby (because he's a chunky monkey and he's part asian)
There is no way Jose I could live with my mom. She wants to come stat for a few days for Amelia's first birthday which is on 12/27 and to avoid the stress of her staying over the holidays I'm going to have her party 1/5.

I'm sorry but I'm LOL at the thought of the Sizzler 24/7 because that's kind of how Caleb is some days. But I'm fortunate he sleeps well. I think it's just so different from Kennedy that they are shocked by what the real normal is.

I don't blame you. H mentioned pushing out our move to the end of next year again, and I just about had a breakdown. He's gone so much it isn't a big thing for him. But for me....oh my lord. Lol

Jennifer... have you told H that you need him to be home more. I know with his job he has to travel, but with him traveling less that would be better on you.
Triston ate non stop for the first 6 months until we introduced solids then he started to slow down but man does he still love to eat. I tease my H that he will eat us out of house and home before he is a teenager

Unfortunately him not traveling isn't an option. His company just went through a huge merger and he got a great promotion. But we have to move. And until we move, he has to be gone every week.
