Since we lived on the Texas coast, we've been sailors about 10 years, but we just quit our jobs, sold the house and moved aboard in October. We've been saving for a long time for this, but weren't sure when or if we would actually pull the trigger. We have only one kid, and we decided to go now while she's in elementary rather than wait until she was in college. (Homeschooling has been great so far and we plan to move back on land in 1-3 years so the rest of her childhood/education will be more typical.) Since we were in our 40s when our daughter was born, we figured we didn't want to risk possibly not be able to physically handle this lifestyle by the time she graduates. So far, we have hit a few islands in the Bahamas and are having a great time.

I got the Walmart version and kids are enjoying it. So far we have:

large Bambi, Chip, Lady, White Rabbit
medium Donald, Daisy, Pluto, Minnie
small Ariel, Dalmatian, Marie, Figaro
