Awww, yay, I'm glad you love it. Mine is the pink tree of life in the middle. There are many prayers and so much love knitted and crocheted into that blanket.
What a beautiful, thoughtful gift for a woman who lives those very characteristics! I can't wait to see the pictures, and love that you can now literally feel just a portion of the love that GBCN has for you.
I'm glad you like it V- I did the blue and white cross of hearts (or four-leaf clover). I hope your granddaughter enjoys playing with all the bright coloured squares and tangling her fingers in your blanket

I'm so glad I could be a part of this. Mine is the purple on the edge diagonally across from the solid red heart. I hope it can bring you some comfort.

Sorry I'm late! I was rachael070707 before this sn. I'm so glad you love it and was happy to have a small part in it (mine is the rainbow square). A big thanks to everyone who participated and for wowhead putting it all together for us.
Mine are the two multi-purple granny squares. I chose purple when I read this:
"Purple combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. The color purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic.
The color purple is a rare occurring color in nature and as a result is often seen as having sacred meaning. Lavender, orchid, lilac, and violet flowers are considered delicate and precious.
The color purple has a variety of effects on the mind and body, including uplifting spirits, calming the mind and nerves, enhancing the sacred, creating feelings of spirituality, increasing nurturing tendencies and sensitivity, and encouraging imagination and creativity."
