For E: Floor puzzle us map Olaf bubble maker 2 board games DH bought her a Sofia tent thing for her bed. ETA: I'm making her a dress up rack from an Ana-white plan.
DH: Ice cream maker to replace the one that broke before we moved.
I don't really want anything. I'm hoping for more stuff for the house instead of gifts.
DD's birthday is in December so she gets a bunch of presents within a few weeks. I usually buy stuff I know she will want when it's on sale and just save it. In my closet I have a Rebecca American girl doll which will be her birthday present and a bunch of Rebecca clothes and accessories, some of which will be Hannukah presents and some I'll save for later. I also have a Disney store Anna playset which coordinates with an Elsa set she got last year. She wants an Elena of Avalor costume so I'll wait until after Halloween sales and get that to save for Hannukah. DH and I don't give each other presents so there's no one else I have to shop for.
ETA: I forgot, I also have a lego popstar set and a couple AG mini-dolls (DD collects them), as well as a lot of books, so we are set for a looong time.
I have a running Amazon wish list right now. Other than books, there's not a lot on it.
- M&D dinosaur and fire truck floor puzzles (currently obsessed with puzzles) - Magnadoodle - new Skip Hop backpack (too small for school, but good for outings, old one is really worn out)
He really loves this book called "What Animals Eat". It's a book from the Kingfisher Readers line. I think we'll probably buy 5 or so more of those. One about where animals live, the human body, seasons, etc. His question are "big" now, so he's totally digging books with subject matter. Bonus - they're only $3.99 each.
I don't know what his big gift will be at this point. DH usually sways me. He's ready for a bike with training wheels but we'll wait until his birthday in March, as we usually have snow on the ground through much of the winter. He digs Duplos, but also interested in regular Legos. Maybe we'll get him his first Lego set with a theme he's interested in come December.
hermione - We feel the same way about the jungle themed Paw Patroller. His original still gets a TON of use. Not quite daily, but at least every other day. It's also a big hit when we have friends over. I think we may get him the Air Patroller Plane because it's only $29 and other another bus.
Disney little people castle Peppa pig car Peppa pig figures A couple of the 6" disney dolls (the little barbie like ones)
I am going to get her some books, a couple of little people figures, and maybe peppa pig family figures. She is also obsessed with those blind bag/surprise egg videos on youtube so I'll probably get her some of those too.
On her list from family: Doctors kit All things play doh Little people house Peppa pig house Some things for her baby doll (she has a stroller but maybe a car seat or something like that) And some other things that I can't remember now.
I've gotten a few things here and there, mostly for extended family. We all use Amazon wish lists and I've snagged some awesome deals off of lists, as I've seen them.
For DS (just turned 2), we will be getting a balance bike and train table. I'll probably buy used off of local facebook BST if I can find good ones. Maybe some more train tracks and cars, probably clothes.
My H and I usually do a family present instead of gifts to each other. We're getting the old school Nintendo thing that's coming out next month.
I want to get him a toddler table. I was sure I was going to get the IKEA one, but it seemed so tiny in person! They have another table that adjusts to three heights for $70, and I'm thinking about getting that. Any other recs?
-Puzzles -Big list of Usborne books -Thomas the Tank Engine books -Duplos
He has a lot of big toys, so I think I am just getting small stuff this year.
I have no earthly idea. we are going to be announcing our disney trip in January on Christmas day so I got them matching mickey pj's. other than that I got nothing.
it's to the point where we have so much stuff, grandparents will get them stuff too, so idk. dd1 is obsessed with shopkins right now so probably that, dd2 just had her bday so I'm fresh out of ideas

We have way too many toys already ugh. Lane has been consistently saying he is going to ask santa for a "big tractor. Yellow. That digs dirt." So any ideas for that? Ella- no clue. She always just wants what Lane is playing with.

I am done shopping for DS. (I've picked up things for the past couple months). -IKEA easel -green toys helicopter -a bunch of books -Melissa and Doug reusable stickers -small workbench with play tools
His birthday is also a month before Christmas so we'll have a ton of new stuff I imagine.
DS is turning 7 a few days after x-mas so I'll divide up closer what he gets when. DD is 4.5
DS: 1. ninjago sensei wu Lego set with dragon 2. Jenga, I will also get monopoly or have family member get it since he really wants it 3. Schliek ? Animal and knight figurines 4. A new beanie baby boo stuffed animal or two 5. Captain underpants book series
Dd: 1. Puzzle 2. Assorted animal and fairy figurines 3. A calico critters bathroom kit for her existing dollhouse 4. Beanie baby boo or two 5. A new book or book series 6. Will pick up a few doll outfits for her existing Melissa and Doug baby
Both: big box of magformers (we got magnatiles last x-mas and they love them so much but we need more pieces!) I've bought 3/4 of the items already.
I want to find out the sex of the baby before I get started on that front, so I have a few weeks. (I think the blood draw is Tuesday, but the results can take two weeks.)
For E, my parents want to do a new bedroom set. Is that going to be exciting for a 2.5-year-old? If we make it a big deal? This will be her first big girl bed. My H and I are psyched, of course, and we will all appreciate it no matter what; I also want to find a way to make it fun for her. I'll let her pick the bedding, so there's that.
She needs a stethoscope, so maybe a doctor's kit. I'll be reviewing this thread for other ideas.
And for all the adults in my life, I have no clue. I hope they'll give me some ideas.

DS1 is getting a regular bike "with pedals, Mommy" and we'll get DS2 a Radio Flyer tricycle to match. Then a few things for stockings and that will be it from us. They generally get plenty from family as well, so we don't go overboard on gifts.
He really loves this book called "What Animals Eat". It's a book from the Kingfisher Readers line. I think we'll probably buy 5 or so more of those. These sound awesome - DS loves animal books, so adding these to his list.
For anyone else with a kid who loves animals, we love the Amazing Animal books. They are the perfect length to read aloud to preschool age kids, easy things to remember, and great pictures. Our library has a bunch, so we always seem to have at least 2-3 at our house from there.

Pilsy , we just moved DS to his big boy bed at 2.75 and he was super excited about it.... For two nights, then wanted to go back to his crib. I'm not sure he would have really understood it as a present, but I bet your parents know it's really a gift for you and your H anyway.
eta -- WTH HAPPENED TO THE TWO, YES TWO!!Paragraphs that followed this?? I'm not re typing it... The gist is yay, you are lucky they are buying the bedroom set!
I got dd a little Melissa and Doug puzzle thing. I have no idea what else to get her- she'll be 6 months.
We got dss a storm trooper helmet that talks or something. Lol, I'm not really sure, h insisted he had to have it. Idk what else we'll get him. Probably some golf and skateboarding things.
On list: various train tracks and bridges , I picked nice stuff hoping the grands will buy. We need more track because DS only has a small set from last year and so he can't build much more than a loop, if grands don't get it, I'll pick up some cheap track. dS would LOVE Tidmouth sheds but it's so $$$$$$$$ Bruder cement mixer - this "is his big gift". All he talks about is wanting a cement mixer Big Tonka dump truck 2 Bath toys Learning resources jumbo animals
Do you have an AC Moore near you? They had all the wooden Thomas stuff 50% off on Black Friday/Saturday last year.

I haven't done too much yet and I need to get started.
For DS I have the Tracker Paw Patrol Jeep, and I just bought a groupon for a "Picture me in a Story" for DD. She is obsessed with the book I made for DS two years ago so I'll make her one for this year.
DS is very into making his own projects now so I'll be getting a ton of craft stuff at the dollar store for his stocking.
DH and I are hoping to go away for my 35th in January for a few days so I'm not sure if we'll do much for Christmas this year.
We're basically done. I got him a Thomas musical caboose for his set, we picked up a big Playmobil pirate ship, and then also a school house and school bus when they were on sale at TrU. I'll also add some books from Usborne - I sell, so I get a discount
Otherwise he has so much stuff...he'll get zoo/science center/historical farm passes from my ILs, and I'm going to encourage practical stuff from my parents, too.
The gist is yay, you are lucky they are buying the bedroom set!
Right?! I feel very fortunate! And I know it won't be exciting for her now, but when it comes time to furnish a place of her own, she might like not having to buy a set.

I bought Tidmouth Sheds for $60!
No AC Moore but Tidmouth sheds is currently $67 on Amazon. That just seems crazy expensive to me!!!
