Randoms - week of 10/31

My coworker has been in this section years longer than I have. When I came in and other people left, she took over their role much to her excitement and I took over hers. She does not know what she is doing. Today she created huge drama and is trying to drag me into it with her and I am not having it. She did not agree with something a supervisor on another section did. She asked me what I thought. I said maybe he made a mistake or maybe there is another valid reason, but based on what I can see right now it doesn't make sense. You should ask him and let him respond. Well she sends an email not only to him, but includes all supervisors on our sections, all supervisors on the other section, our boss, and our bosses boss. OMG. And she included a line in there that andwhat and I looked at it and she agrees. Wait a minute heifer. That is NOT what I said.

I am good friends with one of the supervisors on the other section and I made it clear when I saw her that it did not go down like that. And I am going to make it clear to the person she was referring to that nope didn't happen like that. And if my boss or anyone else asks me I am going to tell them that too. And the messed up thing is that now that I have heard more about why they did xyz it makes sense. It just solidifies that she doesn't know what the hell she is doing. And all of this could have been resolved if she just asked him and waited for him to respond.

And it pisses me off more because I feel like she threw my name in there because we are both black females and solidarity sisters, but no dammit you were wrong and didn't get all the info before you created a shitstorm.

There's an African dance class. I suck at dance but always love to learn new things. I can shake my ass on the dance floor, but that's about it. I should go but I'm scared my black card would get taken away!

I was going to wait to buy my sweet baby nephew's Christmas gifts, but one of the gifts is for Paw Patrol Live tickets in March. I know, but I was going to ignore Ryder's problematic ass and the Mayor's chicken lol, because when I got them Daniel Tiger Live tickets, per an MM Moms' suggestion, my sister said he went nuts! Anyway, I couldn't wait because I went to just look at the tickets since I can't get back to sleep and they had already sold so many tickets. For Paw Patrol Live. In the spring. And it's only November. What the heck?

I drove past an early voting location in the county where I work (which is very heavily AA) and almost an hour after they opened and the line was still out the door. Gave me a little hope this morning b/c all the mainstream media stations are all on this Black voting is down BS which pisses me off.

I forgot I was supposed to give blood today, so I wasn't well-prepared. I got two finger pricks (!! my least favorite part) and my iron was still too low. Also, before I went in, I got off the phone with my mother and I told her why. So naturally, she told me again that she doesn't think I should keep giving blood. She told me that I'm not a "prime specimen" and then asked me why I thought that was so funny. Lolol.

Black women vote but so many of  us have low iron so we can't give blood, no matter how many spinach smoothies we drink    I don't even try anymore.

As much as I love Michelle (so so much), I do not think she should run or that I could get excited about it--one of the main reasons being that she's not qualified.

This morning, he called me from the golf course to say he was going to make a quick breakfast when he got home, but we needed to be ready to leave by 12:15. Who is we, bro?
