And to answer the question, it looks like there's a Salon article (http://www.salon.com/2016/11/16/steve-bannon-reported-to-the-fbi-for-allegedly-violating-campaign-finance-laws/). I don't know if this will get picked up by other news outlets.

So far no other news network (only places like the dailykos, politicus, etc.). I hope they do cover it, since there will be more pressure for the FBI to investigate.

Yeah, I went looking because I'm genuinely curious. Mainstream hasn't really picked it up yet.
HuffPo does plenty of great work but given this guy's bio, I can see the skepticism!
Yeah, some of the "journalists" they use are not so stellar and are borderline just opinionists. I do side-eye things that are only HuffPo, but I try to look for other sources. That said, I like the link to the group's memo that they sent - it's pretty clear that receiving money from a SuperPac when you employed by a campaign should be grounds for investigation.

In fairness, the MSM picked up jack shit of relevance this election cycle.
I view HuffPo as the Left's Fox News. A lot of stuff posted there is at least partially true, but it has a definite agenda and click-bait headlines. If I see something there first, I look around for other sources as confirmation.
I don't see any of the major ones yet, but there was also a delay on the opposition to Bannon. I'll wait.
Well HuffPo isn't the Enquirer. I'm new here. Is there a pixy approved media list I can bookmark?
The issue with HuffPo isn't that they aren't a legitimate news source, but they they also publish a ton of left-leaning opinion for clicks. It all blends together.
Not to continue bashing HuffPo, but they also have a "contributors" section where basically anyone can write anything and it doesn't get much review. I've gotten fooled by that before.

It's not just ,pixy0stix, friend as sources matter. Perhaps more than ever, with this new administration, it's important for readers to think critically and evaluate sources before spreading information to others.
Anyway, just stick around, you'll catch on to which sources are usually credible vs. incredible.
I know you're being snarky, but this board, literally since it's inception, has tried to use non-biased, or at least mostly factual news websites.
From the link:
Some sources not yet included in this list (although their practices at times may qualify them for addition), such as The Daily Kos, The Huffington Post, and Fox News, vacillate between providing important, legitimate, problematic, and/or hyperbolic news coverage, requiring readers and viewers to verify and contextualize information with other sources.

And sometimes we've done better with that than others. The cold reality of the election result has led to a renewed commitment to looking for good journalism. This is also why we decided to actually stick to the law on stealing content and stopped C&Ping.
