-I didn't like it as much as Winter, but I'm wondering if some of that is my bias against Daniel Palladino. -I thought the town meeting was funny, but heavy-handed. -The Brexit joke was funny, but only because I'm not British - would this have been written/filmed before the referendum, or could they have added it after? I hope they don't make a similar joke about Clinton/Trump, that will only make me sad I've actually been a little worried that there would be a ton of Clinton references peppered throughout, since Rory and Paris referenced her so often in high school. -No way did Rory take music theory, what is that nonsense? Also, no way is Rory one of Chilton's most successful alumni. -Paris's children are so cute. I kept expecting Rory to lose one.
And at the rate I'm going I'm not going to make it to Fall until Sunday night

The headmaster kind of addressed the Rory flailing part when he offered her a job if she got a masters. He mentioned that when he hears a beloved student is "living here and there" he wants to try to help or something to them at effect.
