White chocolate chip palette sucks and is not worth the hype so don't be sad if you missed out. Limited to no pigment on all but one shade, and there's too much fall out. I'm returning mine this week.
I really want a mini palette to work so I ordered the new one from tarte. Fingers crossed there!
Ask and ye shall receive, I guess! carrotsmakemefat , just got a coupon in my email 20 minutes ago. Not valid on NARS, Lancôme, Clinique, Dermalogica, Dyson, Beauty Deals™, Beauty Steals®, 5 for $5/5 for $10 offers, Benefit Brow Bar Services and clearance.

I read the reviews on that palette and everyone pretty much said the same thing - it's tiny, poor pigment, lots of fall out. So yeah, I'm glad I missed it.
And yay for Ulta coupon. I got mine in the mail yesterday!

One day last week, Temptalia posted preview swatches of a bunch of new mini palettes from Smashbox, and they looked amazing. You should check those out.

I need some face oil recommendations. Preferably something less than $30. My skin has been so dry lately with the season change
Also, I just ordered the Hada Labo moist stuff but am not quite sure how I want to use it. I was thinking I'd mix it with a face oil but if I'm supposed to use the Hada Labo before my other essences and serums I'm not sure if that's the right move.

I just watched a YouTube review on those. I want one! The packaging is so pretty.

If you have Sephora points they have a Josie Maran reward that comes with two mini bottles of argan oil.

Ulta is so weird. Why are some of us getting the 20% off in the mail and some of us by email? I wish there was some sort of preference to set because I'm very likely to accidentally throw it away if it comes in the mail (which may be their goal, honestly).
DarcyLongfellow, I'm not sure if it has something to do with preferences or not. I prefer getting it in email, honestly b/c I will receive it faster and won't lose it. There were times in the past where I would let the physical coupon expire b/c I forgot about it.

I wonder if it has to do with how we shop. I rarely purchase anything online for Ulta and get pretty much everything in the actual store. So maybe they think I'd like an actual coupon to bring in. Idk I'd rather have an email though.

My husband threw mine away. When I asked him if I got anything in the mail yesterday he said no. I said "oh, I'm waiting for something from Ulta". He got this wide eyed look and said "I think I threw that away". I freaked out and made him dig through the trash to find it (it was in the top).
Lol, I think I scared him with the intensity of my response but I've been waiting for this coupon to restock since November!
I was planning on building my own Anastasia quad with my Ulta points + coupon. I spent forever a few weeks ago putting it all together so I'd be ready to go. Welp, now two of the colors are out of stock. DAMN IT.
I thought I was super far off from hitting platinum this year, and then my BFF informed me that she had been using my customer number to buy her neices a bunch of xmas gifts at ulta. I usually alert her whenever I get a 20% off coupon and put in a joint order, so it behooves her for me to retain my platinum status.
Guess who's less than $100 away despite a huge makeup lull and needs a restock on a bunch of basics? aww yeah. Coupon came in both email and snail mail today. They do appear to actually be different codes. The email one says it'll only work with my sign-in, but the mail one doesn't have that caveat, so it's probably up for grabs.

Oh, that makes sense!! I agree they're today wrong, though. I almost always shop in store, but I'd much prefer an emailed code.
Has anyone tried a blue/violet highlighter and not looked too space alien-y? I'm intrigued by these but not sure they are compatible with normal day to day wear. I'm thinking I need to find something with a little bit more pink in it. Right now all my highlighters pull gold

I have ColourPop Monster. I don't love the CP formula so I never wear it, but it can be made wearable, I think, though maybe not for work. It would be a cheap way to try one out.
I also have the Hourglass strobe lighting highlighter in incandescent. It's gorgeous. It doesn't have any blue/Violet in it, but it also does not have any gold. It's a pretty true pale pink.
