Sounds like a great trip! Thanks so much for posting.
FWIW, the first time we went to Disney, DS2 was 16 months, and he was MISERABLE on the buses. It was awful, and that was when we stayed at BLT, so we didn't have to take them everywhere. I totally sympathize. The second time we went, DS2 was 2.5 years old, and it was so much better. We were at AoA, and the buses were just a lot easier b/c he didn't mind them at all.
Glad you had such a great trip. There was a thread in disbords about the lack of crowds this Christmas week. People seem to think it wasn't as crowded as it normally is but I don't know if/when they release attendance numbers. There were several theories including whether Christmas falling on a Sunday spread out the crowds since some schools don't go back until 1/9. Looks like your family picked a good year to go at Christmas.
No the original poster but remember with the dining plan tips aren't Included. With every buffet being $150 those tips add up.
Yes I have the written list of charges somewhere but they also said they were going to email it to me but I don't see it. Basically drinks plus tips were most of it, plus we paid OOP to eat at Spice Road Table since we used all of our TS credits. I bought two pins, Pirate makeover, Harmony Barber Shop, extra snacks, commemorative popcorn bucket, huge Mickey balloon, DH got a sweatshirt, I had to buy socks for the kids and myself because I forgot them. A lot of little stuff but it added up. I definitely didn't need three drinks at BOG dinner but the kids were asleep and we weren't driving...so that racked up the bill a bit. On our date night at Epcot we only did one ride our bodies were so sore from the day but we sat at the bar in Mexico and drank so that was a big charge too.
