I wanna see!!! I recently purchased a new Halloween knitting book. I'm still a might peeved that Knit Your Own Zombie wasn't at the store. I freaking love Halloween. This afternoon I'm headed to the Goodwill to see if I can hunt up a purple shirt I can half-assedly turn into Daphne's dress.
It's foam latex and attaches with a strap at the back of the head. Foam latex is important because it breathes better than regular latex, and moves with your face.
I'm happy it seems that fall is finally here! What gorgeous weather we've been having.
I'm really happy that DS went to sleep at 9 oclock last night, just boom, lights out after he ate (the past few nights he has been fussy at night.) Of course he woke up for an hour in the middle of the night, but that's okay ha.

My 11 year old semi-feral stray just qualified for the 2013 World Disc Dog Finals over the weekend. We even qualified in my absolute worst event by taking 1st overall out of 40 teams. Go Fabio-dog!
I'm also running in my 1st ever 5K this saturday and have lost 16lbs in the last 7 weeks

Wow, lady! These are both great!
Where's my pictures of said dog? Huh? And his little side-kick.

DD is really independent now. She just grew up over night, it seems. Its sorta hard for me to adjust to. I keep going back and forth from being proud of her to mourning her babiness. She gets the jugs of milk and juice out of the fridge (or anything else I ask her to get). She climbs into her carseat by herself. She puts on her clothes and shoes by herself. She even got up in the night to go pee and didn't get me until after she was done.
I got a job offer with the federal government in Washington D.C.
OMG YAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!! Way to bury the headline!!
There was nothing happy about my trip to MN. Death is balls and fuck cancer. Happy... Um... It was good to see family, drink copiously and laugh over gophers. All the grief avoidance parts were happy. And it's over, that's probably the happiest part.
I just did a hard interval training workout this morning and felt awesome even during the toughest parts. The crisp temperatures helped! Seriously, aside from a couple of blah (not to be confused with blahhhhhh) runs and one especially lousy run, since mid-June my marathon training has gone really, really, REALLY well. I'm shocked. There's still plenty of time for more lousy runs to happen, and I could end up running a lousy marathon, but so far I'm enjoying the journey.
- I also scored a great deal on Craigslist for a dollhouse for Scarlett for her birthday. Her birthday is going to be kind of ridiculous because of this, but whatever.
- Jackson told me this morning that he LOVES school, and that makes me super happy.
- We're doing Jackson's birthday party at a bounce place, which I think is kind of fitting since he wants a Super Smash Brothers birthday party. I'm excited for him to have his first friend party!
Mominatrix - Jackson had that vest for Easter one year!
