First time disney visitors with a 4yr old. Is Memory Maker worth the $169? I have a good camera and take nice photos myself but I'm wondering if I should make the investment in the Memory Maker?
I think it is. I really enjoy looking at what thHey capture for us. I scan my band and they take the pic. And I don't have to worry about a camera other than my phone. But we aren't photographers.
When it was $99 I was a definite yes. I still bought it for our March trip but the price is starting to get high. It is nice getting lots of pictures of the whole family. Definitely be on the look out for the photopass photographers. They are in lots of spots beyond just the front of the park classics. Each trip I have always been happy with the result.
I think so. We have gone twice without it and twice with and having it feels like it takes the pressure to take pics off of you. If that makes sense. Like snap a few with your phone when you feel like it, but you know they will catch all your character meetings and get good pics when entering the parks. I also love the on ride pics and videos so that's worth it to me. The kids still watch our Mine Train videoes and love it.
We did a Memory Maker share through a FB group and it was worth every penny. I would've paid full price for ours, I didn't have to lug around the big camera and I could focus on enjoying the moment instead of taking pictures. I got a few with my phone here and there, but we loved it.
I joined a group from a message board and shared it with a bunch of other families. You are letting our people see your photos, and there's a bunch of extras to weed through, but was worth it. I think I paid $40 for my share.

I am rarely in pictures (except selfies with the kids) because I am always the one taking the pictures, so it's important to me to get memory maker and have the whole family in pictures.
