I don't really have this problem, given that I am 5' tall. Bath sheets are unwieldy and huge. Plus, you can't wrap your hair in them really. Regardless, our bathroom is attached to the bedroom. I usually wrap my hair up after drying off and go into the bedroom naked. I'm not concerned about anyone seeing me naked.
all of this except I am 1.5 inches taller I don't like bath sheets for all the above reasons. Plus they take longer to dry.
What kind of animals get dressed in the bathroom?!
The kind of animals who refuse to walk out of a toasty warm bathroom into the arctic freeze of the rest of the house.
My bathroom is about 5 square feet and I grew up with a bathroom the size of a postage stamp (for real-the tub was only 3/4 size and abutted both the toilet and sink) so this may cloud my decision.
I'm short and generally get dressed in the bathroom. If I am going to get dressed in my room, I will bring a robe into the bathroom with me. Also, the larger the towel, the more space it takes up in the closet and on the towel rack.
I have a small, shared bathroom with short towel rods that would never hold a bath sheet. Plus, I take my clothes in to the bathroom and get dressed as soon as I dry off. I rarely walk out of the bathroom wrapped in only a towel.
After I dry off in the shower I put a robe on immediately, and usually a pair of fuzzy PJ pants I keep hanging next to the robe. I wear towel in my hair only. I am usually freezing when I get out of the shower, especially in the winter, and I tend to do some things before I get dressed (moisturizer, contacts, etc.) and wearing a towel to do that isn't appealing.
I think I use a bath sheet? I didn't know that's what they were called. The last time I bought new towels I came home and 2 of them were larger than the rest. It's fabulous! And I'm not quite 5'2''. I love being covered down to my knees. I never knew they had a fancy name, I've called them oversized towels.

I already owned towels before I heard of bath sheets. The expense of buying bath sheets isn't worth it now. I might start slowly replacing towels with sheets. I haven't seen sheets in store, though.

Thank you! I was afraid to say anything, but omg I haaaaate that feeling of still being wet and getting dressed in the humid bathroom. No. You go to your bedroom, put on last night's Steven Colbert, and get dressed in front of him. Like a lady.
I dry off in the shower with my regular bath towel and wrap up in a towel, or my robe if it's cold, and get dressed in my bedroom because that where my clothes is.
I need 5-10 minutes after a shower to feel dry enough to put clothes on. Getting dressed in a steamy bathroom is not my cup of tea.
I use bath towels. Bath sheets annoy me. I feel like they are too big and I have to wrap myself more. Plus they are a PITA to fold and prevent me from stacking two rows of towels in my linen closet. And, if my kids get their hands on them, they are tripping and dragging them on the dirty ground. Plus they cost more.
I love bath sheets! I def don't need it though, I just like the big fluffy towel. We started getting them originally because H is a pretty big guy at 6'4 and a regular towel didn't work well for him. Once I tried one, I was so cozy we got more via our wedding registry.
Macy's has nice bath sheets and recently i've found a comparable bath sheet at Costco. We plan on picking up more when we refresh our towels in the next year or so.
for my hair, I use a turbie twist. I have curly hair and they work wonders at not making my hair prone to anymore frizz.
I hate bath sheets. Too big. I'm short and I don't like drying off with what feels like a comforter.
I'm not concerned about my ass showing because my ass shows plenty since I either walk about naked or in underwear or in a nightie/romper, after showers. With no central heat or AC in this house, it really depends on the weather.
I also use those turbie-twists for my hair. Long hair lifesavers.
Because towels (large, fluffy ones) work for us. Though actually H usually uses a beach towel, now that I'm thinking about it; maybe it's a cry for help and he needs a bath sheet. Lol.
I also get dressed in the bathroom, though, because it's easier. Plus, in the winter I like to put my clothes on the radiator cover so they get nice and warm while I'm showering, and then when I go out into the much colder house I'm still comfortable.
we use bath sheets. I bought ours from Restoration Hardware. And while their stuff is not cheap, I can say that we have had them for over 10 years and they still look like new. I had another set by Ralph Lauren which I bought at Bloomingdales.
I prefer the bigger towel too. After I dry off I do tend to either walk around naked getting my clothes together or get underwear on and then a robe, since you asked
Bath sheets annoy me because you can't fit very many of them in the wash, and they take forever to dry. I shower at night, in our master bath, so I just dry off and immediately head to my closet to put on my pajamas.

I dry off with a regular towel then put on a robe or towel wrap (like this www.target.com/p/floral-body-wrap-mint-xhiliration/-/A-46771378 while I do hair and makeup. I hate getting dressed while I am still "moist" from the shower. Gross. Getting dressed is the last thing I do, in my bedroom.

I am both short and cheap. Which is a rough combo when you consider the type of brands that carry petite clothes. My H only has to cover half his body and my 3 kids are all under 5 feet still (for now anyways lol) so don't need to pay more for the sheets.

I hate that you used the M word.
I hate that word too, but nothing else seemed to convey the level of moisture my body feels in a humid bathroom. Damp doesn't quite convey the level of humidity that the M word does. I gave it thought, I don't go throwing that word around recklessly.
