We have 3 rooms. I booked all of them and our TA said that since they were all booked together/at the same time they should be next to each other. But I'm quite nervous. Can I call or email someone and confirm this or put a request in?
At Disney there is no guarantee that you will be by each other. In the online check in there is a place to make requests. Also you can fax your request to your resort (easy to find the number of you gooogle). We had success requesting a specific longhouse via fax in December.

Adjoining means near one another, and that may or may not happen. Connecting rooms have a door in between. They're also not guaranteed, but you have a better chance of connecting rooms over adjoining.

So I did check with my TA. She has all 3 reservations linked through a "travel with" number so when they pull one up they all come up and the cast members know we are all together. She said she has never had a group not have rooms together when she does it this way.So yay!

Fax and call to confirm. It is not a guarantee. All our reservations - 3 rooms- were linked for our trip in nov 2016. They had us spread out all over the resort!! My SIL and MIL complained extensively and they eventually moved us all to the AKL (from Sports). The upgrade was nice, but then we had a lot of trouble with our dining plan not being activated. We ended up spending hours at the front desk 2 days in a row. I would have rather stayed at Sports then deal with that!

I did call last week prior to asking my TA about our reservations. Once the cast member pulled it up, she said they can't touch a reservation set up that way.
