Port Orleans FQ - room discount in lieu of dining?

We are planning a trip to Disney in November and have stayed at the FQ a few times before. We are afraid the size of Caribbean/Coronado/Riverside would be a drawback for us but not sure since we have never stayed at any of them. Does FQ typically offer room discounts if they are not on the list of hotels offering free dining for fall? TIA

FQ very rarely offers discounts. Because it's smaller, it fills quickly.

like pp says, don't count on a discount at all at FQ -if you can get a preferred room atPOR with free dining that would solve your problem, but you'll have to be on top of it the morning it comes out.

Try Magical Vacations Travel (http://www.magicalvacationstravel.com/agency-exclusive-offers). They block rooms at various resorts and sell them at a discount. We stayed at POFQ last November and paid around $157/night including taxes booking through them.
