As long as there isnt the threat of bad weather where you are then go for it! I have flown them several times and never had any issues. Its no frills and they charge for everything so as long as you added up the bag fees, etc.
They got a lot of bad publicity here in Denver where they are based a couple of weeks ago for a bunch of canceled/delayed flights and the weather wasn't even that bad. It sounded like they were severely short handed and ground crew was just walking off the job. My friend is a pilot and they waited three hours on the tarmac after landing because of the ground crew issue. I'm flying them home when I go to WDW next month so I hope all goes ok.

My mom flies Frontier when she visits me. The flight is only about 80 minutes. She is handicapped, and needs a lot of assistance. She always says they are very nice and helpful to her.
