Follow-up! I've been using the PC Resist Retinol Serum every day and no irritation - yay! I love that I don't have to "remember" if it's an on-day or skip-day now.
Question for bluestreet, mrsukyankee, and anyone else who uses this product: How much do you apply? I've been using two pumps - I smooth over my face and neck and any excess I rub into the backs of my hands. Does this sound about right? Am I being too stingy or applying too much?
That's about what I've been doing too. I also spread it under my eyes, and it's been totally fine.
Bumping this thread and it looks like it's been about 3.5 weeks that I've been using the PC retinol now. All of a sudden, it's causing some minor problems for me. I've skipped the last two nights in the hopes that I just need a little break. Not sure if it's the product or the colder weather we've been having here in NE. bluestreet, have you run into any issues?
gennyu I don't use the PC retinol but experienced something similar after a few weeks using Kate Somerville Retasphere. I switched to every other night and the spots that were flaking are better now.

Thanks, I guess I will go back to EOD for a while too. And hope for warmer weather soon!

It has been fine for me, and in fact I've stepped up to my stronger tretinoin.
Are you using a good moisturizer? What exactly is the issue?

Definitely EOD, and followed by a good moisturizer.

I was at the derm yesterday and I let her talk me into the 2% retinol serum they sell, I figured it was probably priced around PC so I gave it a go. It felt so nice on my face, omg. She said her opinion is that everyone should be on a retinol.
I did try differin for about a month, I didn't notice a difference at all in wrinkles or dark spots and she thinks that is what was making me breakout in hives around my eyes.

What brand is it?
Their personal label is on it so I unfortunately have no idea.
