((Hugs)) suzv. Hope Everyone stays healthy. Same Worried here as DH woke in a puddle of sweat last night. Both kids already have a cold but I hope it doesn't get worse.
Might do a quick trip to get bagels (basically in and out as fast as possible) today.
Supposed to see a LC on Wednesday but probably have to cancel since we are all sick.
Need to stay on top of chores. Currently washing our bedding again (just did this on Friday). Want to get outside once everyone is better.
Maybe my parents will stop by fir a visit at some point.
suzv - I love the idea of daycare webcams! I can imagine it makes a big difference to be able to check on him whenever you want to. Also, I hope your H feels better soon and everyone else stays healthy!!
I don't have anything happening this week. My therapy appointment on Friday is the only thing I have on my calendar, I think. I work Mon-Thur and H worked Fri-Sun, so it's going to be a pretty boring week for us.
suzv, hope everyone stays healthy! And I wish E's daycare had webcams. I would love to creep on him all day, especially at naptime because I still don't know how in the hell they get him to sleep on a mat and not in a crib. The director said she doesn't use them because she got too many calls from parents saying "that kid Brayden hit my preshus Brinlee and what are you going to do about it?" Stuff like that. So she got rid of them. They do have cameras in the rooms to re-watch incidents as needed, but they're not broadcasted to the parents.
My week: working 3 days consecutively. I NEED to work on my paper today as its due next Sunday. AND I have an exam next Sunday too, in my other class. DH will be out of town, boo, so the in-laws are coming to help with E.
Mainly finishing up a new dress this week, cleaning, making freezer meals, then our valentine's party this wekeend oh, and maybe re dying my hair pink. The color already disappeared
suzv most babies don't get strep so hopefully he'll be okay. Good thoughts for your grandma to avoid it though!
pooh8402 I'd be so curious how they get them to sleep on mats too. I can barely get my kids to sleep at all half the time. Lol.
pooh8402 I wonder the same thing about my E! I'm afraid for when we move him to a bed (not anytime soon hopefully) because he fights sleep so much!
My week is mostly the usual. This weekend we're doing an escape room with some friends and they are also having a LLR in person party. Sunday we might go to the MOA to take E on rides, my mom has some free ride passes.
G has her 2 year appointment today. We did her shots a week ago so this will be easy.
Waiting to hear back on job stuff. Both grandma's are wanting to take G sometime this week so I'll get something set up with them. Pretty normal stuff.
We have 2 more estimates on our basement refinishing scheduled this week... and hopefully we can decide on one so things can get started next month or so.
amaranth you've inspired me to dig out my sewing machine. It's been a while but I am browsing what I want to sew. It's been awhile so I'm thinking pajama bottoms. I used to be able to make a pair, start to finish, in 15 minutes when I was big into sewing.
Nothing interesting here. Work Tuesday-Thursday. Friday I have to take my mom for a doctor appointment. No plan for the weekend yet.
I work Mon-Thurs evenings which means I won't really be able to talk to DH until Friday evening. Other than that I have an OB/GYN appointment tomorrow & a social worker appointment on Friday.
I'd like to book a hair appointment for Friday afternoon. I cut my own hair last week and it didn't go super well.
Taking today off BC I feel miserable. Waiting for docs office to open so I can get in. Have had a headache for 24 hours, Tylenol won't stay down, and foods and liquids wouldn't stay down last night. Ice cubes are OK.
At some point I need to do the make up work for my online classes from when I was on bereavement leave last week, and do this week's work.
How awful, grover! I hope the doctor is able to do something to help.
Thanks, I called and was transferred to the nurse line voicemail at 9. At 10:15 and told the receptionist I'm sorry not sorry about being a pain, which got me an actual nurse on the phone. But the nurse hung up to go confer with Dr and is supposed to call me back. It's already 10:50, and I understand they're busy but I just want to know if there's anything I can do to feel better.
I have friends coming over Friday to hang out/meet DS. If the snow/ice clears up I'll go have a play date with my BFF and her DD on Thursday.
Saturday I'm going to a girls' lunch (a pho place) with 4 of my friends. All our H's are watching the kids so no distractions with bringing them. I had to miss the last one cause both H and DS were sick.

So sorry! I'm home today with the same. It's extra miserable to have a stomach bug while pregnant.
I called and spoke to my OB because I was having some contractions too but she said if I can keep any fluids down, then it just has to run its course. If you can't keep any fluids down for 12 hours, then it's ER worthy for an IV of fluids. The worst of my symptoms lasted 8 hours or so and now I just feel like I've been run over by a truck. I kept a banana and sprite down though.

All I had since last night has been ice chips and a few sips of pop. Nurse on call told me Dr wants me at triage in L&D so I'm there now. I made myself eat a half a clementine before I left.
Nurse here says I'm the 4th person with these symptoms and it sounds like the flu
Thanks! Been thinking of you because I know you are a pro dealing with coughs Thankfully, C has been sleeping better at night but L can't seem to get a good nap in because he keeps waking himself up coughing. We never had to deal with this with C until closer to a year. Hoping they both are healthy soon!
