Sounds like a really great opportunity bk1! Worth giving it a try! And...i am sure we Will be in that area within the next two years so we will have to have a play date!
pooh8402Blue Moon- how long did RSV/bronchiolitis last? How long did you have to do breathing treatments and how many did you do per day? She said it could last weeks. We went for a walk and he was really struggling to breathe...same in the car ride to the appointment. He has a handful of hard moments and the rest of the time is relatively ok...but the flareups are bad and scary if we aren't close to home 😔
It lasted about a week for E. He got sick on a Friday, diagnosed on Sunday, was back at daycare on Thursday (fever free for 48 hours by then). I never had to do breathing treatments (we had a prescription and got the machine, but I never opened the box) , but we did do the humidifier and baby vicks on his feet at night, essential oils in the diffuser during the day, and lots of suctioning.
That's awesome, bk1! I'm glad they were willing to negotiate with him. I can't even imagine how emotional it must be to think about making such a big move, though. Are they going to help with relocation?
bk1- I'm glad the offer was better then expected, but that makes making a decision harder. When we move away in the fall it's for a better paying position, better benefits etc the decision wasn't easy but in the long run it will be way better for our family.
