Eh, its six of one for me. It doesn't matter either way. Part of me thinks we should stay here to stick to the nest for not listening to their users long ago. Most of me isn't emotionally invested enough to care.
I'm just getting used to it here, and I think I might stay. Seems faster, for one. I'd been on TN for.ev.er (no, really...like 2000) at this point so it's nice to start "fresh." And if they hosed things so badly that a grand majority left, what's to say they won't do it again? The mobile app is a nice addition to the "pro" column for ProBoards, too.
Functionality wise, I greatly prefer Proboards. It is so fast, unobtrusive, larger area for reading posts, less crappy ads, etc etc etc.
That being said, the nest draws traffic. If we keep up a presence there and filter people here, I vote we stay. But if we do not do that, these boards will end up losing momentum.

I agree that there isn't going to be as much traffic here, but if we just occasionally threw posts up over there we could filter people over... I love how much faster this runs!
I think we should stay, I enjoy not having giant pregnancy ads on the side of the screen when I post at work. I am pretty sure my boss thinks I am going to tell him I am pregnant every time I walk into his office.
I like it here. It's faster, and more functional. I think we should occasionally link on H&F over there to boost traffic, though.
The more I think about it, H&F was pretty much the same core group of people the whole time I was there, so I'm not sure we're missing all that much with randoms wandering in. There will mostly be fewer HCG diet/Kinoki foot pads/Sketchers Shape-Ups posts, which is fine with me.
We could filter traffic here with regular pro-boards posts on The Nest. The worst thing they can do is ban someone for posting about these boards, so we will just have to take turns!
I'm firmly in the stay here camp. Elle is also doing things to make these boards Google-able and searchable in order to for new people to find these boards, in addition to multiple people saying they plan to continue to put the link on the Nest.
I have hated the Nest since their last format change in '08 so I have no desire to go back.

95% of my Internet use is on the phone, which means ProBoards is far more convenient for me. Last night I clicked on my PCE shortcut to test it and in the time it took for the Safari page to load, I could have opened 2 or 3 ProBoards app threads. This doesn't even get into how much easier it is to respond to threads here.
I'll be sorely disappointed if people migrate back.
I'm staying. You know the nest is like an abusive husband--they're being nice now to keep us from leaving. If they realy cared, they would have, in the past EIGHT YEARS, fixed the search function that many of us have been begging them to do. If we go back, you know there will be more fuckery in the future. They can't keep themselves from messing with a good thing.

I agree with this - the app is a huge plus for me.
I have no desire to go back to the Nest. If people start leaving this board in mass, I think I'll just try to cut off the Internet board addiction once and for all
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. - Bruce Lee
