Hugs to everyone going through a hard time and health issues.
I'm struggling but for different reasons. Found out I was pregnant last month and the past 3 weeks have just been pure hell with "morning" sickness. I felt like i was coming out the fog ( I'm 11.5 weeks) but then just literally lost my lunch. I've pretty much slept February away and I can tell my H and DS are feeling it. So is my house (its a mess). Hoping for a turnaround ehre soon. With DS it last right until about 14 weeks.
Congratulations Sunshine! I hope you feel better soon!

So much love to all of you...
DD2 had surgery on Thursday to cauterize her nose. She's been having nosebleeds pretty much every day for a few months. She technically still has a murmur, so her pediatrician has been hesitant to have the ENT do the surgery. She's had blood test after blood test, one comes back that her blood takes too long to clot, then the next one comes back within normal limits. Very frustrating
DD3 failed her hearing test at school. The ENT and audiologist determined that very little sound getting from the outer ear to the inner ear, but that what does get through goes from the inner ear to the brain which is good.
Work is OK, just trying to learn not to suck at being a new manager
I'm here plugging away. Not in a great place and not in a bad place. I'm in some sort of funk and I can't really even say why or what it is but I bet it has to do with work.
I've been looking at houses because H works in LA and we don't live near there so it wears on him. We have made arrangements that work for his commute but it's not ideal for him however, works until something changes with that situation. Housing prices are nuts in SoCal and although we own a house and have a decent amount of equity, looking for something closer to LA is killing me inside every time I look at the price. Realistically it will be awhile before we can move but I am still looking at areas to get an idea of what we are up against.

I so understand the commute. We moved as close as we could to shorten my commute to Pasadena. The best we were willing financially to do was cutting me down from 2+ hours to a solid hour each way. It took a while putting in offers against other folks and the all cash flippers. But persevere.
I hope you find a good fit for your DH's situation. Hang in there!

Thanks! We were looking at somewhere that would be about an hour commute for him as well. If I don't change jobs it'll have to be an in-between type situation which is OK because the in-between is the cheapest area! I've also been looking at the new houses which, with mello-roos, are crazy. The mortgage is fine (sort of), it's the added taxes that I'm having issues with. Then do we want to move from a relatively newer house to an old house? So many decisions.
