Good luck bricco! Sounds like you are in good hands. I had pre-e and then Hellp with my triplets. I have no idea what my levels were but they decided to do my c section right after the discovered the Hellp. The 24hr mag after delivery is no fun but it keeps you from having any issues.
bricco, that's a great update and makes sense. Hopefully, as you said, your platelets won't drop lower so if you want one, an epi shouldn't be a problem. It seems unlikely that after holding for 2 weeks at that level, they'd change a lot today. I know it's hard not being with your DS. Like gigem said, try to get some rest/sleep. With 4:30 vitals I doubt you got a good night's sleep last night, and going into a birth exhausted is sucky. Also, if I were you, I'd find out the cutoff for eating and try to get in a nourishing meal right beforehand.
Every 4 hours for BP wouldn't worry me, but I'm sure they'd do it in between if you requested.

I had HELLP but didn't know it. I was induced at 38 weeks for personal reasons and I had no symptoms. Blood pressure was fine and I felt fine. When they did routine labs during my induction I had low platelets and elevated liver functions. We ended up staying in the hospital an extra day because of me until my labs more or less normalized. My induction went fine and I delivered pretty quickly (last cytotec at 4 am water broke at 5 am and DD was born at 8 am, without need for pitocin). Good luck hope everything goes smoothly!!
I'm very irritated. They started the magnesium an hour ago, but have done nothing to actually induce because the dr got pulled into surgery. So I'm on this for no reason.
I started mag at 7pm but didn't get my ballon until close to 10pm. The mag sucks but it's important to be on. The initial mag load sucks the worst. GL!!!
