Adora Belle Dearheart, I'm sorry you didn't get better news. I know the tendency on this board is to focus on the positive and remind you that "today you are pregnant", but I honestly would feel the same in your situation and would want someone to tell me I wasn't being crazy for preparing myself for a m/c.
I know this will differ for everyone, but when did you start buying nursery furniture? I have OCD and want to start ordering it sooner rather than later so we can start putting some of the crap away that we have been accumulating...but we are only 23.5 weeks.

I didn't buy any (we repurposed a lot, and the crib is a hand me down from my sister), but we started acquiring it and thinking paint colors right about then. You're only 2 days from viability.

well thanks to the fact that I've been obsessively tracking our spending in mint for many years now, I can tell you we started buying nursery furniture right at 24 weeks (crib, changing table, car seat) and got the glider right around 33 weeks. I'm pretty sure the only reason I waited on the glider was just waiting on a better sale. The dresser was a hand me down from my mom. My vote is go for it

Another vote to go for it! I think my first purchase was somewhere between 22-24 weeks
we certainly have bought stuff (glider and car seat and bases) because they were on our local list serves for a great price and couldn't pass them up. We also have TONS of stuff from friends (literally, like at least $700 worth of stuff!!) but we haven't bought the major stuff, so it is legit all just thrown about at random in the middle of the room.
My in laws offered to buy our dresser, so perhaps I will ask if they can get that sooner rather than later, and then we can order the crib this week. I ordered the closet organizers already so hope to start on that over the weekend.
shauni27, I'm 19 weeks and have only bought a sling and a baby carrier. I'm kind of freaking out about it. The baby's room is still a guest room at this point and I have no idea when we'll move the furniture out, paint, and start getting it ready. My plan is to go register and look at stuff next weekend (so 21 weeks)and possibly start our nursery around 25 weeks. That's the plan at least but we'll see. Also, we may just use the dresser that's already in the guest room and a friend just offered to let me borrow her cradle for our bedroom so maybe we won't even have to buy too much?

shauni27, we still haven't bought anything for little girl. The nurses will ask me if I have certain things, and I'm like, no, she was born 15 weeks early, I have nothing. I need to go this weekend to get a boppy for kangaroo care time and some receiving blankets to put in her incubator.
shauni27, I must have been around 30 weeks when I bought our nursery furniture because it was a cyber monday sale at Ikea. We didn't get around to assembling it until 2 weeks before A was born because we had to dismantle a bunch of stuff and haul it out to make room. My poor parents now have an office in their living room. I keep apologizing, but they say they love having us stay with them.
I just realised A and I only have 3 more weeks in Texas before we leave again. I've really loved having this time together.

Is this a good opportunity to complain about my house flooding when I was 7 months pregnant and us living in hotels and a rental house for the next two months? And not moving back home until I was over 40 weeks pregnant? And dealing with house repairs until the baby was...well, she's almost 14 months old and the house is almost done.
I'm always looking for a reason to whine about this! It was seriously one of the worst things I've dealt with, up there with infertility and a colicky newborn.
shauni27- with DD we didn't buy anything bigger until 30+ weeks. (We did have the crib already because we bought that years ago with a prior pregnancy) I think you have bought some major stuff already. (Car seat, is pretty major.) If your comfortable buying it now I say go for it.
cactuscookie- that would be stressful. I thought moving at 8 months was tough...
Well it turns out DD is going to be an early teether. She's so uncomfortable at times and it makes me so sad. All she wants is to be held and to nurse. I hope the tooth comes through quick!
Adora Belle Dearheart I'm so sorry. The limbo must be so stressful shauni27 the glider took 12 weeks to come in so we ordered that as soon as I hit viability. We didn't have a car seat when I had my first PTL scare so I'd get that soon!
Teddy is 15m so I thought I'd give a little update! He seems huge (over 25 lbs now! And tall, but his appt isn't for a couple of weeks). He is still eating and sleeping well. We are still BFing 3ish times a day. He is killing me with cute lately. He's so sweet and cuddly. He will come up to me and say "snuggle!" and lay his head on me, pat me (because I always pat his back), and go "awwww!!" Strangers always comment on how sweet and chill he is. He loves going outside and playing with the big kids. They taught him how to dribble and it is adorable! He LOVES trucks and is obsessed with going around and touching them. I can't wait to take him to touch a truck stuff this summer! He is super into his books still. He knows his colors, shapes, about half the planets, every animal known to man (even weird things like ostrich and black panther!). He can count to to 3 and knows the difference between 2 of something and 3 of something. He is working hard on doing puzzles but doesn't quite have them yet. Definitely knows WAY more than I expected at this age, especially since he doesn't go to daycare and just picks up stuff from reading books.
Oh goodness cactuscookie, that sounds miserable. Glad it is almost over!
boiler717, what an amazing update! He sounds like such a sweetie and a fast learner!
I had my first appt with my OB yesterday and it went well. Baby girls are looking like babies now and growing right on track. I don't have any more medical appointments until my NT scan in a few weeks. I will feel better after that because they should confirm a membrane between the girls (everyone who has done an ultrasound thinks they saw it, but need to confirm).
Our OB said to skip the CA blood test screens since we will have better data between PGS and NIPT. I am actually really excited about eliminating one process that is guaranteed to give me anxiety based on history.
Adora Belle Dearheart thinking of you today. As Shauni said I really hope you can get some definitive answers and i'm crossing everything that it's positive.
shauni27 - I have a crib and glider left over from last time and I'm waiting until 20 weeks to order some more things. I'm jealous of your awesome deals!

I've been taking fenugreek to help with my supply, and I totally smell like maple syrup. I convinced H to smell my armpit this morning and he was like, OMG you smell like a waffle! It's so weird.

shauni27 - Ours was a little different. We started decorating (slowly) before we were matched. We brought home the crib, a co-sleeper, and a larger car seat over Thanksgiving when we visited our good friends for the holiday (they gave us their stuff), but didn't put it together until after the anatomy scan (I think). The rocking elephant and rug I had bought before even being matched, along with a few other things, so the nursery has slowly been coming together for a little under a year.
boiler717 , that is amazing. A loves books too, but can't name anywhere near that many things. I'm going to blame it on the fact that half of her books are in French, and I've not been very consistent with OPOL (one parent, one language). BUT, she is finally almost walking. She's so desperate to do it, I'm convinced it won't be long now.
