I got to the airport way to early. There's still 40 minutes left until they start boarding and everything is closed because it's so early. I really hope one of the little shops opens before we board so I can get a bottle of water.

I'm at work, yawning up a storm. I have a sore throat and no voice so this should be interesting. I wrote my class a note on the board with instructions for their assignment. Let's hope they take pity on me and cooperate! I'm going to go scrounge up some tea from the cafeteria.

We leave tomorrow morning for our trip, so it's crunch time. I can't mentally handle leaving my house messy so on top of packing and preparing days of food for my kids I also need to finish cleaning. Good news is I've been doing little bits all week and while stresses today, it shouldn't be impossible.

I am so excited for our trip though! I hope my knees are okay skiing.

I had my baby on Sunday! This week has been a weird mix of a whirlwind and the longest week of my life.
Today is the first day (and only day this week) where it'll just be DH, LO, & I.

Dh and I are uneasy about E's new daycare (long post on MMM). I'm getting paint samples today because I need to stop stressing over paint colors.

Garth Brooks concert tonight! Early birthday present from my husband and my BIL/SIL. Still no sitter lined up yet, or at least, she hasn't gotten back to me to confirm.

We had a horrible night. C was up crying off and on 3:30-5, L was up 11:40-12:45 and again at 4:20. I basically got a 3 hour stretch and then maybe another 1.5-2 before being up for the day. Yet somehow I am managing to get a lot of things checked off my list! Its 9a and I have 4K steps in without going on a walk!

No plans for today. Hoping the boys nap together this afternoon (C has been a nightmare, mostly refusing his nap and instead playing for 2 hours). I also have a phone appointment with my endocrinologist later this morning. I should try to take the boys for a walk once L wakes up...see if I can find the motivation to get them both out the door.

luv2rn4fun *hugs* nights like that are SO hard. Hope today and tonight is much better!

pooh8402 I read your post on MMM and just wanted to say that even if those things are normal, doesn't mean you have to like them. It's okay to at least try talking to them about what you'd like to see and see what happens. Overall, I hope you find a better fit soon either there or at the other place.

((Hugs)) suzv. That sounds really rough, especially having to function at work with little sleep. L has been much better lately. Last night was a little worse because it was hot and he refused to nurse well at bedtime. He was fussing off and on for 30 min and I finally got up to feed him, which took 20+ min. Otherwise, he likely would have had his 2 normal wake ups. It was C that made last night much worse. His sleep is so unpredictable right now, in a very bad way (and he's so cranky because of it).

FIL gave us 2lb of frozen king crab legs that had been in his freezer because he said MIL wouldn't know how to cook it. They were delicious! Such a nice treat after this crazy week!
