I did ok last week.
Nutrition is my issue lately. I need to really work on that this week.
I couldn't afford to purchase the month at cross fit this pay week so I will be doing running and weigh lifting.
Meal plan: Monday: sugar snap pea stir fry over brown rice Tuesday: leftover ziti and turkey meatballs, salad Wednesday: grilled chicken, baked sweet potatoes, veggie Thursday: spinach stuffed pork roast, veggies, mashed potatoes Friday: leftovers Saturday: spring veggie pasta Sunday: grilled steaks, salad, corn
For lunches this week I'm doing grilled chicken salads. Snacks will be hard boiled eggs, string cheese, cut up veggies. Breakfast, I have turkey sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches or cereal.
I'm still working on the added sugar. I'm doing pretty well, but still eating almost twice as much as the recommended daily amount (25g).
Vents/AWs?
Traveling really threw off everything for me. Between the anxiety leading up to it, the travel time, and the sinus infection I've been dealing with since I got back, I've missed out on so much gym time. I feel like I'm back at square one. It's so frustrating.

Since my battle is always healthy eating, here is this week's conundrum for me. When I've been good about logging food/macros/etc., I've always used sparkpeople because that's what I started on back in like 2005. I have been resistant to change because all my favorites were stored, all my old weights were stored, that's what I knew, etc. However, it seems like EVERYONE uses MFP. It's probably more user friendly, I'm sure more people I know would be on it, it probably has more features, the app is probably better, etc. I need a push here people. I'm resistant to change. I've been telling myself this morning that stored "favorites" are not a reason to stick with SP as they probably aren't that healthy anyhow. I also can still go back and look at old weights if I want to see how far I've come or something. Basically, this is just a long winded way of saying I need to shake things up because what I AM doing (i.e. nothing) is not working. I need to eat healthier. I need to feel better.
wanderingenough - I'm not going to lie - I'm not a huge fan of MFP. I wonder if the premium app is better, but I don't understand the point of offering a free version if it doesn't work. It constantly resets my goals and my macros, so I have to go in and set them back to where I want them over and over and over again. As someone who has very specific nutrition settings to meet, it's really annoying and time consuming.
I went to the gym 3 times and my runs are defiantly getting quicker. (I usually run about 5km at a time.)
I was met my step goals every day last week. hoping to continue this longer.
My eating wasn't the greatest, but I'm hoping to change that this week. I also am going to try and drink more water and less pop/juice.
I'm hoping to get in 2 runs this week and 2 group classes. (Did one group class today!)
My AW of the week (maybe year): I fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans! I tried them on this morning and they do up! They are a little tight, and cause a slight amount of muffin top but they do up! Lol

Ok, so I decided to stick with SP since I already know it and have the premium app on my phone. I logged all day yesterday and am currently eating a healthy lunch after working out. Two day streak coming up? Haha
