Tuesday complaints

Okay, you don't have to complain, but I will. Lol.

-M is still puking, day 3. It's weird because he will eat normal meals and some stay down, and others come right back up. Yesterday he seemed fine all day until 4pm but he has puked a bunch since then. I don't understand this weird bug.

-Our basement flooded again last week and although the first time was resolved with no issues and no odor, it reeks now. Awful. Our furnace is in the basement so I noticed due to central heat other rooms upstairs are starting to smell.

-Due to the stomach bug there is suddenly SO much laundry I don't know how it will ever get finished, but I can't get to the machine because of the flooding. Gah! We have a legit 10 loads of dirty blankets now.

On the up side, I am not sick too?

amaranth Sorry about the weird bug I hope it resolves soon....Did you get a company out to help with the flooding damage the first time?

I'm still coughing due to allergies. If this doesn't stop, my boss is going to lose her mind. I'm trying....oh am I trying.

amaranth - Poor M. I hope he starts feeling better soon! What a terrible time to not have access to your washer/dryer. UGH.

I'm annoyed that H got scheduled at job 2 on Sat. Apparently it's their 3rd busiest Sat of the year. At least he gets off early enough we can just leave right when he gets home and get to my parents in time. I want him to quit so badly but we could use all the extra money right now, lol.

MrsMB Last time we lucked out and a store bought emergency pump fixed everything with no issues. This time there are random pockets of water where the floor is uneven that the pump failed to drain. Not sure why the difference. I went and soaked up some with towels now, sprinkled baking soda everywhere, and turned on fans. Fingers crossed...

So many ((hugs)) ladies.

My vent is that I didn't sleep well at all at my moms house. I am still here and have been really productive despite managing two little boys, one who has been pretty difficult today (not his fault, we need to get him outside so he can burn some energy). My aunt is coming over in a few hours so that will be great! Also, I am highly annoyed at one of my friends. She said she would be free after 5:30 yesterday...she texted at 6:30 asking my schedule and stating that she still needed to make dinner. Then she asked about today and still hasn't let me know if she's planning to come over. This probably wouldn't annoy me as much as it does but she has a history of being flaky and it's very annoying but even more so under these circumstances. Other than that she is a great friend and has been here for me a ton these last 3.5 years.

And now my period started. That said, I didn't get a migraine yesterday, which is a miracle, so that's something.

I hate that the COL is so high here, I like the area but I can't wait until we move, I'm ready to own again and be settled for the long run.

suzv It always amazes me how LCOL Pittsburgh is! I would be very happy to move there. We are open to a lot of options, but of course, depends on a job for DH which can be tough
