We're expecting baby #2!

I tested on Valentine's Day even though it was only 10 dpo, and just stared at the positive test on the counter.

I'm 12 weeks today. I had an ultrasound yesterday, so we got to see the heartbeat. EDD is October 25.

We're telling our families this weekend, and I'm still in denial that we're going to have 2 kids.

amaranth My birthday is 10/30, so I totally get it. I go back and forth about what I think about the sex. We didn't do the full NT scan, so the earliest we could go back and find out is 16 weeks. We'll probably just hold out until the A/S.

estrellita Luckily I'm at the end of the yucky first tri, so hopefully yours go by fast for you.

I was mostly terrified too, especially since it happened so fast and they are only 21 months apart. You have a much nicer age gap so your DS will be able to communicate with you more. C couldn't and it made it even harder. If I can ever convince DH for a 3rd I would want at least a 3 year gap. The hardest part has been having C home all day while also having to care for L...it really wasn't fair to C in the early days but has balanced itself out now. You guys will all be fine!!! Enjoy these last months as a family of 3!
