Those are the only types of words that matter at points likes these. Some people say it. They call it out boldly in an attempt to get the shit to stop. Some people won't/don't and never will. Time after time, opportunity after opportunity, they never will. That's the rub.

That's fair. If that's what's needed I can do more of that. I think ... at one level it's solidarity with the victim, at another it feels performative, not to mention the threads sometimes veer into "oh I didn't like them anyway for <completely unrelated reason>". But it's not about my feelings, is it!

.. while we're here, I've stopped rubbernecking that thread, but I read enough to see loira go off the rails. Microagressions are real, a real problem, and arguments about which problems are "more real" are mostly dumb.
