Last week was not good. I'm having a tough time getting back into the rhythm of my workouts. I only did one workout, and it wasn't even one that I had planned. lol.
How do you plan to challenge yourself this week?
I'm planning workouts every day, and challenging myself to follow through with a minimum of four of them.
I don't know which nights we'll do them, but dinners for this week will probably include: Turkey burgers, chicken quesadillas, baked salmon, tacos, tilapia, and a pizza night.
Vents/AWs?
Vent: I wish yoga classes weren't so expensive. I went to one this weekend and it was wonderful, but I can't afford to spend $15 on one workout. That's insane.
suzv - Oooooooh, I would love your recipe for garlic Parmesan tilapia. That sounds amazing!
We've definitely backslid on the healthy eating, too. I'm working on finding healthier treats for myself, like iced tea lemonade instead of an iced mocha. I want to be able to treat myself to things without completely destroying my nutrition for the day. Haha.

I'm restarting everything today. I've been on a down hill slope again. I need to get my butt in gear. H is doing great, me not so much.
I'm going to make a goal to workout for 4 days this week. I'm planning my workouts today and hopefully I can officially join crossfit on Friday.
As for nutrition. I'm finishing up some jimmy dean delights breakfast sandwiches I have in the freezer. Lunches are salads topped with grilled chicken. For work I'm packing hard boiled eggs, string cheese, pineapple and a fruit bar as snacks. I hope not to eat all the snacks but I think for a 12 hour shift it's not too bad.
I'm actually currently starting to write out a menu plan for the next 2 weeks. My menu doesn't start until Friday when I go grocery shopping. I'm not planning on buying any junk food.

Monday workout done! Back/biceps, and a little bit of abs.
I was worried that I'd lost all of my progress by taking such a long break, but I didn't have any issues. Thank goodness! It feels good to be back at it.
ewall - I like that idea! Instead of a number of days target, having a number of hours target. That's really smart. How long are your typical workouts?

Usually 35 to 40 minutes. Some days only 15...that's when I don't want to do anything, but then I can say "at least I tried." Sometimes it works and I end up getting a full work out in, other days "nope, not feeling it, done."
Last week went ok until wed night. Then I started feeling sick, Thursday wasn't good. I spent most of the day in bed.
My steps were killed last week and because I broke my streak I just continued to break it. Urg!
I hit my target yesterday and today so I am hoping I can continue this streak.
My eating hasn't been too bad, I haven't been eating really healthy but at least it's been in moderation. (Except the fluids, way too much pop!)
My plans this week haven't been great. I have some plans but I think I'll have to change them as DD has broken out in a rash so I can't take her to the child minding class. 😞
Pretty good! I stayed at my parents' house in my hometown with DS and they eat healthy. Super healthy. :Y: This week my period showed up and I wanted to eat all the salty & chocolatey things. :N:
Ugh, this week was a fail. Yesterday I finally got back on track with eating better.
The rain has been hampering my walking goals.
See, while I was OOT with DS, H had a huge oven cooking fail and we're still trying to get it cleaned up. So all my normal healthy oven go to meals have been out. And also, see above: crap period eating.
Aw: I'm down 2 more pounds... only 5 more to go! <)
So, I had a white mocha and a double chocolate chip muffin for breakfast this morning. Breakfast of champions. LOL.
BUT I've worked out every day this week! And I've been eating well otherwise. A treat every once in a while is okay, right? I don't even want to know how much fat was in it. Probably more than I'm supposed to eat in a whole day.
