Anyone have fun weekend plans?

Tomorrow I'm hosting a flower arrangement class (and instructor is coming) so hopefully that's fun.

Hubby leaves for his long trip on Sunday, so I'm trying to mentally prepare for that

That sounds like fun, amaranth! I didn't know there was such a thing as a flower arrangement class.

I signed up for a painting class in a few weeks. I'm really looking forward to it.

Today is my lazy day. I have no plans, other than my workout.

Tomorrow, I'm meeting a friend for coffee and going to see my mom for a while.

Sunday, I'm going to church in the morning, H and I are talking about going to the outlet mall (it's about 45 minutes away), and I have a friend who is doing a lipsense thing I said I'd go to.

Also, I'm going to make my own foaming hand soap this weekend. And maybe some bath salts.

DH is working tomorrow. I need to grocery shop sometime.

Sunday we are going OOT to the zoo. I've been asking to do a family trip to the zoo for a month. I really want to go but I'm in a funk and not really looking forward to it. Plus I got my knee out of alignment the other day and it still is feeling pretty sore if I walk much. Hoping to shake that stuff off so I can be excited about going.

It's sooooo beautiful out! I'm lucky enough to be working today and tomorrow, lol. Hoping to start on some yard work. We need to clean up the seed bits our huge tree is throwing everywhere, pick up sticks and branches, and start digging up the rocks we have along the house so we can put fabric down. Plus we're pulling out bushes and replacing them and maybe adding flowers. Lots of ideas and hopefully it won't be super expensive to do everything!

My aunt and uncle are coming by tomorrow to drop off the couch/recliner from my moms and visit before they go to a baseball game! It's supposed to be super hot here this weekend, in the 90s. I used to love hot weather but not any more with kids...just heats up their rooms too much.

No other plans. I have been helping my dad here and there with his business (because life isn't crazy enough). I just bought us some books for using social media for marketing so I need to do some reading at some point. Hoping to have some family time too since DH has been working a lot lately.

Going up to visit MIL for the weekend, though we won't get up there until 9 pm or so. She's supper excited. I'm a little worried A will be awake all night after taking a long car nap on the way up.

I also hope this weekend is more happy than sad. I'm sure it will feel mostly bittersweet though (it's our first visit up since FIL's memorial).

R's baptism is Sunday!

Lots of family in town, lots of food, lots of chaos

Oh and our lease is up the end of May, we were planning to stay but keeping our fingers crossed that LL wouldn't raise the rent too much....talked to her today and she's not raising it at all! Woohoo!

Our plans were to do the landscaping in our front yard tomorrow but now it's supposed to rain all weekend. so we will see how that goes. If not then we plan on emptying the stuff in our garage into our storage unit. We can hopefully do that in the rain.

We're heading OOT tomorrow. C's baptism is Sunday and we didn't feel like doing the 1 1/2h drive day of.

H is going OOT for work this weekend.

Saturday I have a drill at the fire house in the morning. A group of us ladies are going to the winery afterwards.

Sunday I have crossfit then hope to spend a few hours with H when he gets home.
