The weekend is so close!

Little guy was up soooo much last night. I hate that feeling of being more tired when you wake up than when you went to bed.

Today is our last day of sunshine before a bunch of rain moves in. I'm hoping to fit in lots of outdoor time

I wish V's party was tomorrow instead of Sunday! It's making me wish away tomorrow because I'm so excited.

My book club went to a book launch yesterday, it was really cool! The author was my friends middle school teacher, and this was for her second novel on immigration. It is Michel Stone, she wrote The Iguana Tree and now Border Child. She had really heartbreaking stories to share of her travels and stories that people have told her after reading her book.

The same book store we went to is having John Grishm soon! I love that the small local bookstore is still doing so well, in the days of barnes and noble and amazon.

We are having a tea party at a cute tea restaurant . It's basically just a nice luncheon for the adults with tea sandwiches etc (and brunch cocktails!). A fairy princess is coming to do face painting for the kids and Violet is going to be so thrilled! I can't wait.

More thunder and lightening this morning, I'm officially over living in the south! There was one bolt of lightening that was so intense/close I actually heard the lightening and the thunder was instants and shook the house, it also tripped the circuit breaker for Daniel's room, crazy!

We're having a small family party for Logan tomorrow, and I am so unprepared. I have so much cleaning to do, plus make cupcakes.

Our sump pump broke and the whole basement flooded. sick of dealing with water in the basement

We are now back on the train of maybe trying to move. First, we'd hire a company to come in and do water mitigation (they offer a guarantee usually) then do a few other small things so spruce the place up without spending a ton and then get the hell out of there. It's been a great house but we want somewhere a little bigger .. like maybe a 3 bed 2 bath 1500 square feet would be ideal. But I'm not sure sinking 100k into our house to turn it into that is worth it ...

unfortunately all the homes I want are way too expensive.

I got my period this morning and I haven't left bed since bringing DD to school. I feel like shhiiiittttttt.

Facebook repeat, because I'm proud of my kid. His school had a fun run this morning and he crushed it! It was hot and humid, loud and chaotic, and a lot longer run than I had expected. Knowing the things that can trigger him, it was a potential perfect storm, but he did great!!

I'm planning on adding dresses to my Etsy shop (/opening a second shop for dresses) so I've been sewing constantly. I'm covered in threads. It's getting embarrassing to leave the house.

I'd need to speak with one more person before they made their decision. They all have to agree! So I would speak with the vice president of the company next and then I'd know soon afterwards. Omg.

And that's only if I get good feedback from this last interview.
