I feel like the luckiest mommy on the planet. We have the most amazing, loving, and creative woman watching our kids. Yesterday I picked them up and my DD was over the moon about the fort they made out of boxes and colored duct tape. Then this morning I got a picture of my DD holding a treasure box that they created together. The stuff she is learning and the fabulous care they both receive is priceless. I cannot imagine having anyone else watch my babies.

In the last 3 days my legs have gotten really heavy. It is so difficult to walk, I do a shuffle/waddle/heavy breathing thing. Such the image of grace and beauty! I feel like a whale.
I really want to finish my to do list for this baby this weekend. I hope to motivate DH to get all our gear from the garage so I can wash it and set it up. I know logically I probably wont go early, but I'm so uncomfortable I have to beleive I wont have to wait til my Oct 15 RCS date.
I know some friends were surprised, not realizing that I am able to even have kids. I have gotten a lot of those comments today in person and via email.
I got DD's hair into pigtails for the first time today: her hair is super curly and juuuuuust barely long enough to make two little poufs on the top of her head.
Styling little girl hair is a new milestone at our house...I'm not super girly, so I'm surprised at how freaking adorable I thought it was. So different from boy haircuts!
Well this kid is already MM. No cost for care and l&d, all covered by insurance.
Damn, you beat me. I had to pay a $10 copay at my OB intake appointment.
Otherwise, I'll owe nothing OOP (which is pretty damn impressive, considering I've had six ultrasounds, an external version, a meeting with a genetic counselor, and a MaterniT21 blood test over the course of this pregnancy).
It was incredible cute! I am so uncreative, I would never think of anything like that. I did think about asking you if I could steal it if the need should ever arise for me.

DD started pre-school this week and so far she loves it and is doing great. I'm going to let her teacher know that I can help out in the classroom on my days off.
My random is very random: I just got around to exploring the ProBoards options, and figured out how to correct my time zone and show expanded sub-boards on the main board page. I'm very excited by this.
I have a doctor's appointment on Oct. 12. If I can lose 8-10 pounds in that time period, I get to go off my non-pregnancy-safe medication and start TTC. Eek!

I was trying to get DD to smile at me at daycare drop-off this morning, and the teacher who was taking her from me said, "Oh, she must be starting to figure this out - you drop her off and go bye-bye without her, so no smile for you!" She was joking, but I didn't find it very amusing.
