True friends will hold a fan up under your dress in public when you get married in the summer in Savannah when the heat index is 124 on your wedding day.
I have my damn flowers blocking the full view of my dress in almost every photo. But it's not blocking anything here since the whole top of the dress had just rouching (sp?). Sadly though, it's hard to see the flower on the side of the asymmetrical sash.
I'm bitter about my dress. I was having one made that was really flowy and sort of reminded me of a Celtic princess. My seamstress flaked on me at the last minute, leaving me one month to find something off the rack that would fit. This dress was so far from what I really wanted, but the only thing I could find that fit and that was within my price range.
The back of it was beautiful, but that's about it.
And woohoo to doctorwho for representing the kilted men

I had my dress made by a local costumer. This is me with one of our groomsmen. ETA: This is one the few moments where I had the girls under control. They would not be wrangled that day!
I'll try my first PIP. Sorry if it's too big. Maggie, no corset back, embroidery continued on bottom of the dress inside of the pleat thing. Back had same embroidery and buttons.
My advice is to not use the "attachement" setting when posting pics if they are already online somewhere. click the Image icon in the "Add Tags" area and insert the pic URL in-between the img tags it will give you.
