This is kind of random, but ever since I had a stomach virus a couple of weeks ago, I feel sick at my stomach when I think about or try to cook most meat.
Don't worry. Fully cooked bacon from a restaurant still sounds delicious, but there's no way in hell I'll be making any myself anytime soon.
I browned some sweet Italian sausage for pasta sauce last night, and I had to keep walking away because I felt so grossed out.
I've always been weird about meat, but this is just getting crazy.
I seriously thought I was possibly pregnant because the thoughts/aversions are so strong. I POAS this morning and it was negative.
If it's not your cycle, could it be from vomming meat? I had something super gross happen to me 2 years ago w the smell of cooking onions and I am still disgusted by the smell- like cooked onions, eat them, but have to remove myself when they are being cooked because the smell is so, so gross now.
As I get older, I'm having more and more of an aversion to meat. It just grosses me out for some reason. This doesn't apply to fish/shellfish- mainly things like turkey, ham, sausage, chicken. And if I get a chewy part FORGET ABOUT IT, I'm done.

Hormones? I'm not a fan of red meat anymore and I'm certainly not interested in becoming a vegetarian so it has to be getting older/hormone related....?
I need ham like water Like breath, like rain I need ham like mercy From Heaven's gate Sometimes ham salad or casserole or ham that’s free range, all natural I need ham
I got a stomach virus and had been loving this blueberry goat cheese in the 2 months or so leading up to getting sick. Now I can't even think about it without associating it with feeling sick. Mentally I know it's still delicious but my body has this instant aversion. That shit is good, too. :-(

I ate chicken wings when I was sick like 12 years ago and I can't bring myself to eat them ever again. Did you eat meat while you were sick?
This happened to me once but it was square frozen pizza. Still can't eat it. OP, I would poas again in a few days just to be double sure. With my first pregnancy I had an aversion to meat before I had a positive pregnancy test. I realize that if you are pregnant enough to have symptoms you are pregnant enough for a positive test but all the same it happened.

I still can't eat the strawberry shortcake ice cream popsicle things I ate just before coming down with a stomach virus in elementary school. *shudders*
