Only 2 more days until the weekend!

I had a super important 3 days at school and now that's over and we can all breathe. It feels so nice to be relaxed again.

Ari was assigned a nursery rhyme for his prek graduation. He has to practice nightly so I have heard Hickory dickory Dock about a milion times already. The cemerony isn't until June 14th, so much more time to hear this annoying rhyme!

My wabbit has returned. And I saw another, svelter, rabbit in the neighbor's yard yesterday. So I'm going wabbit hunting today.

And by that I mean I'm going to the garden center and buying all the rabbit repellants, lol. Because I don't hunt. Jews don't hunt.

A's birthday today!  Everyone is taking her to do fun things but me lol. She's out to breakfast with my husband now. H woke up at 5 and fell back asleep at 6:30 so I'm just sitting here. Then my mom is taking her out to lunch, to build a bear, and then to have her hair dyed. I do need to make her cake sometime!

We have an appointment with a surgeon this morning to look at Alexander's umbilical hernia. It is much much smaller than it used to be so I really hope they leave it another year or two and see if it closes on its own.

@lindy, she looks so much older!

W was very excited about this morning's waffles because they were pink (beet purée) and had sprinkles (chia seeds). I was pretty happy about how they tasted too since it was the first time I used all whole-wheat flour. Now if I could just get her to try some type of fruit syrup.

I wore horribly unsupportive shoes yesterday and am paying for it today. My feet and ankles are killing me! I guess I should know better...

I roasted the beets until tender, then puréed them and froze in ice cube trays. I added one cube to the batter for 4 waffles

Well the hair place wouldn't dye her hair even though they knew her age beforehand. So spray hair dye it is. She also got a ginormous Poppy from build a bear.

I'm beyond frustrated and sad at the trumpdontcare bill. I may breakdown if it fully passes and then also move out of the country as my children will never be able to get insurance or the treatment they need.

I'm not sure where to look. My H is very lackadaisical and isn't worried because it won't pass the Senate. I screamed at him that Cheetolini wasn't going to be president either but look where we are now. 

We will not be able to afford the therapies. Even if we cut all other expenses, it is still more than we make monthly. The downside of living in a lcol area but services are still at premium prices.

It's a (free) weekend full of amazing things for all of us
