Claire qualified for speech through EI this week and has asked everyday since when "her Amy" is coming back. I'm so excited she got this speech path, my very good friend worked with her for years. Claire fronts the sounds of K and G and I'm so pleased she was able to pick her up even though she didn't have the 33% delay. I work very closely with EI, one town over, and it's soooo different it's crazy. They never would have offered services for two sounds. It was a refreshing experience to not have to make my case for services, like most parents in the town I work do, which is what I was expecting.

E had preschool graduation and thought he was going to start kindergarten this morning! He's so upset. We haven't even had kindergarten registration yet, so I'm not sure why he's so excited.

We need to run some errands in town today. It's pouring rain! I need a head-to-toe rainsuit just to load and unload kids from the van.

Also dh's work is taking a party bus to the talladega nas-car race Sunday and gave everyone tickets. lol It is on my bucket list and I am so exited!! I hope it is fun 😂

So much to do today. Just got home from preschool and the ILs are less than 2 hours away, I thought I had at least 4 hours until they'll be here but they left at 5:30am! I somehow have to put he kids to quiet time early, watch an hour lecture and clean the house in that amount of time.

It's W's birthday today! We had a couple of her friends here for an early afternoon party, which went really well. We're going to head out in a bit for dinner (she requested a place with pancakes) and then I'm taking her to the ballet! Her big present this year was a new Star Wars bike and she is in love!

H appears to be having some kind of skin reaction, but I cannot figure out what caused it. Can rashes show up hours after exposure? He had new sunscreen this morning and we also went on a plant nursery tour this morning but the rash didn't show up until after nap hours later. He ate nothing new during lunch.

I'm sitting on my bed trying to work (and watch Star Trek:Voyager on Prime) and Caleb's been keeping up a running monologue for the last 15 minutes. I have no idea what he's saying, and I don't think he's actually talking to me anymore. It started that way, but now he's just playing.

My husband got me a ticket to see hello dolly for Mother's Day! I LOOOOOVE bette midler and have been dying to go! And we can only afford one highly marked up ticket, haha. Next Saturday night it will be me, some wine in a theater sippy cup, and Bette!!!! I am THRILLED.

H says it can take hours to show. Is he uncomfortable?

He doesn't seem uncomfortable. He didn't eat much for lunch or dinner but that's the only not normal thing he's done.

I was getting nervous it wasn't getting better as bedtime approached so I ended up calling my dad (retired doctor) lol, he said I could try Benadryl, but that he was probably fine, but I tried it anyways and in about 30 minutes it looked a lot better! I wish I knew what caused it.

I did end up giving Benadryl and it helped a ton! . I noticed it first at 3pm and it wasn't any better by 7pm so I gave some. It was making me nervous to send him to bed with it not any better. I'm thinking it must have been some plant from the nursery but idk.
