May is still not in the top 1000 but Mae has gotten way more popular although it is still only in the 500s. Clara has been rising but actually declined one spot last year.

W's name wasn't anywhere close to 1000 in 2012, but now has jumped all the way to 524. I've only met one other W in real life. I's name made it above 1000 for the first time ever his year at 950

I find it so so weird that when I chose the name Violet in 2012 I really thought it was kind of an "out there" name. Like it was sort of a guilty pleasure name for me. Little did I know, everyone else loved it too lol

I hear the top ten girl names all the time. It seems like every new baby around here has one f those names.
But, I rarely hear or meet a baby Michael. Tons of Benjamins and Noahs.
Really? In my Isis group (we are all still friends) there are 7 moms and we each have at least 2 kids. There are 4 Michaels of varying ages and they all live in Somerville or Cambridge.

Haha! It's those darn hipsters. About a month after she was born, we saw an article about the top 10 hipster baby names and W was top of the list

There are 2 little girls named Aria in S's gym class. I always wonder if it is PLL related.
