I'm sorry you're dealing with this, shamrock. Agree with speaking with AmEx before agreeing to anything poorly run Everly Rings is poorly and passive aggressively offering.
I need ham like water Like breath, like rain I need ham like mercy From Heaven's gate Sometimes ham salad or casserole or ham that’s free range, all natural I need ham

She currently lives in Minnesota, at least it looks like it, still illegal.
Still idiotic.
I highly doubt amex won't give you your money back no matter if you send the rings back or not. Cuntbaby needs to send you a mother fucking prepaid shipping label. And it needs to be sent signature required.

So, hypothetically, of course, I am hypothetically very close to someone who is hypothetically in the credit card industry - hypothetically, specifically fraud. He, hypothetically, says the merchant should absolutely not be instructing you on what to do with your claim. Hold tight. Talk to Amex.

Hypothetically.
Many genuine thank yous to your hypothetical friend
She's attempting to cover her ass. I agree with others. I'd wait to talk to amex. They typically refund customers and make them whole and then investigate the merchant. With the paper trail you have and her acknowledgement of the factory issues I think you're fine.

Also, their emails have a definite threatening tone to them, including that line about their "trail of paperwork". I have never had a company say anything like that to me when in dispute over a product. Maybe her H is the one writing the emails.
I have a dumb question. V's review of the rings says she washes her hands wearing them and everything. Do people take of their rings when they wash their hands? I don't think I have ever seen anyone do this.
Also, doesn't Amex know we are all waiting for them to take action?!?

Yep. Even in public restrooms. I don't like soap scum on my diamond!

“With sorrow—for this Court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have today lost a fundamental constitutional protection—we dissent,”

I kinda thought this too. And with the "send the rings back, we may refund it but maybe not. And only if you drop the dispute"
