Oh, you mean work actually requires WORK? The purpose of shilling things to your friends and family is for the MLM to get you to do all of the grunt work for them? You don't say!?!
The gal I am buying lip nonsense through is on her 3rd MLM product. I really had to fight back the urge to say something about that. I ultimately don't give a shit though. Lol
I do like the product. I just don't like the company.

It doesn't really take that much work haha.
That's part of what's confusing here in the blog. You have to make (((sweet Lord!))) SPREADSHEETS!!! How could you ever do that?
I'm wondering if it's very little work (minus recruitment and sales, which, to be successful are definitely work) how easy this lady expected a paying job to be.

I would bet the majority of people who signed up underestimate how much 'work' they would have to do.

I mean, that's fine. I like a product that I sell. I'm just not going to try out multiple to see which one fits. I also don't recruit or any nonsense like that. I despise parties too. I want to drink at a party, not pay attention to people blather. People that just know what they want? Fine. Otherwise, shoo. Lol. #fivedollaraire

Wait a minute. You MLM but you're shitting on MLM? Gtfo lol.
Beyond it being a pyramid scheme, when you start calling yourselves "princess" and "queen" any notion that people will take it seriously is gone. Can you imagine a company, male driven, calling themselves "Prince" and "King"? (maybe some do in private, who knows) Come on!
I am not putting this down as a general way to garner extra income, but I think the cutesy titles make it a joke.
MLMs in general prey on women, and they often use self-esteem as a way to do it. They have a certain psychology behind how they build you up, recognize you, get you craving that, etc.
And Maybelline Superstay 24 Hour works like Lipsense, but is about $7 on Amazon instead of $55. Or you can buy it at Walgreens and not have to call the cashier "Princess."

I don't understand the constant need for finding a new MLM to sell. I sell things, but not very much. I'm not really invested in it other than my discount. I do have people that contact me with an order, but I don't really do the calling and the perky shit. I don't check in with people because I do t really care. Lol. I'm like the worst ever.

Ok Are you fucking kidding me? You are complicit in allowing this scam business model to flourish. Pull your head out of your ass.

If you haven't seen pics of the LLR Americana collection, you're missing out. The dresses! The leggings! I love leggings are much as the next person, but they're the last thing I want to wear when it's 300 degrees outside.

Meh, I don't really care. I buy my own stuff for me to use. I donate a significant amount of my commissions. I never said I was cool. Lol. I'm pretty sure that would never cross my lips.
miso, 😂 are you still angry about ketchup packets?!
Well we know if you receive a bunch of ketchup packets for SS or a gift (wtf cellphone spellcheck today) at random, it totally is one of your friends here. Not me, but hey free ketchup!
The price of lipsense is on par with most premium/prestige (whatever ulta calls them) cosmetics brands. I haven't looked into it much but did buy a color and the gloss to use for dance recitals (for my kid, which may be a confession since it burns your lips - though she didn't complain and she's high maintenance and loves to complain). My impression is there a wider variety of color compared to drugstore brands and I do think it works better than the longwear MAC I've used in the past. It seemed like it worked better than the Maybelline we used last year for recital. Mostly what I liked was it didn't move once it was on. Kids are a pain to put makeup on and my daughter had a bunch of costume changes so I was worried about her smearing longwear lipstick all over her face.
I spend a lot on lipstick though so I didn't think the price was too bad for a color and a gloss. We will use it again next year I think.
Naw, man, it is not. Burberry is in the high thirties, along with YSL, Dior and Chanel. Shit, I paid $45 to go have my own custom lipstick shades made at Bite Beauty in Soho. If you could just buy the color then yeah, but considering you "have" to buy the color AND the gloss AND the remover....just get some goddamn KVD or LimeCrime and call it a damn day. If I'mma pay over fifty dollars for a lip product (and considering you cannot wear the color alone I consider their glosses part and parcel of the product) then I expect to be looking at Tom Ford or Louboutin or some shit.
Yeah I was thinking of ulta brands and like MAC. I personally mostly wear Chanel but I'm not a fan of their longwear stuff (and I don't even know if they make it anymore honestly). So I generally pay more in the high $30s for my lipstick.
Anyway I say on par because the color and gloss is more as a combo than the comparable MAC product but it's a larger amount of product (I'm thinking of the MAC dual ended longwear that I'm not even sure they sell anymore). I'd guess per ounce they'd work out to be the same? I think MAC's had about half as much gloss and half as much color. And for the color portion, the range of colors seems broader than most others in that price range or cheaper. Plus you use the gloss with any color so after you buy that, it's a one time purchase until you run out and when you are buying new colors, you're just buying the color.
I also didn't buy the remover, that seems like BS. As far as longwear products go, I think it's the best I've used with the caveat being I hate longwear products generally. If it was the same size as the comparable MAC product I'm thinking of I would probably think it's not comparable in price but I just grabbed both from my vanity and the lipsense is double the amount of product based on the oz on the tubes.
Is this where I can ask for recommendations for long-staying lipstick? Ive struck out with anything I've tried. Something I can purchase at Ulta/Sephora/Target.
