Happy Monday ladies! What's everyone up to this week?

Today is going to be super hot, near 100. No real plans yet but thinking we will go to the mall after PM naps.

Tuesday- taking the boys to a park C really likes and probably inviting our friends for a play date. Need to grocery shop for a couple items on the way home (store that I don't usually shop at has things on sale I need). PM will be library and Yogurtland.

Wednesday- L has his 9 month appointment, park after PM naps

Thursday- it's my birthday. DH is working and I will have both boys. Hoping to get a run in or going to do something we don't usually do in the afternoon. Morning I will probably take the boys to Starbucks and then the park before naps.

Friday- errands

Saturday- Dunkin' Donuts coffee and going to a new park with DH and the boys (I have free drink rewards!). My step mom is coming over to watch the boys so DH and I can go out. We are also seriously thinking of starting potty training this weekend so the coffee/park thing won't happen if we do (I know we need to start as he is totally ready but I really REALLY don't want to and question if I have the bandwidth to do this with DH being gone all week long, although he does have next Tuesday off so that's why this weekend is semi appealing).

Today just working on chores and hanging with C. Tomorrow much of the same, then in the afternoon I am getting my hair cut and highlighted. Yay! I am long overdue.

Wed and Thurs work. Fri H and I are both off so I think we're going to go to the zooin the morning.

Fri afternoon and throughout the week, I need to get the house in order because I am hosting my grandma's 90th birthday party Saturday.

Sunday we have my nephew's birthday party in the afternoon.

We tried with C a few weeks ago and she did really well the first day, then screamed and cried every time we tried to take her to the toilet the day after. So we backed off for now.

Nothing really until this weekend, we're going to a family get together on MIL's side on Sat and planning to stay at my parents that night.

We're vegging out today. We drove back from GA yesterday and it was so nice to sleep in my own bed.

I'm trying to schedule dinner with my BFF this week. She turns 30 on Friday, so we're trying to get together without our kids.

Thank you! Did C use the potty before you started potty training? My C has been going every night before bath for months and he asks occasionally and sometimes I take him, sometimes I don't depending on how chaotic things are between the two of them. He likes his kid potty (which I hid almost immediately because the oh crap book recommends that). I am hoping it goes well and fast but if it doesn't I will abandon it and try again Labor Day weekend.

I need to get my house in order. It's so messy, disorganized, and full of too much stuff! I seriously want to throw away everything and just have an empty house. I used to have gorgeous, perfectly organized labeled closets and cupboards and now they are all full of crap.

I want to do this in certain areas of our kitchen. It's so crazy.

L got ear tubes today. We are relaxing while she naps.

I have a chiropractor appointment this week. Hoping that helps with the pregnancy induced carpal tunnel.

I have Friday afternoon off for Lila's 18 month checkup.

Saturday, getting my hair done. My parents are coming up so I can do that and do and I can do a date night Saturday night.

She has now and then. We have the small toilet seat that fits over the regular one. Sometimes she tells us if she has to pee but mostly goes when we tel her it's time to try.

One evening last week, she proclaimed that she was done with diapers. So the next day went well with out them, but then the day after, she wanted nothing to do with it again. I hope this back and forth isn't going to make it worse in the long run. Ugh.

We missed getting out the door fast enough for music class today so went to an outside play place instead.

Wednesday play date with MIL and my niece she is babysitting all week. Going to a children's museum.

Saturday doing our 4th of July celebration at the ILs.

I work my regular job Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Friday I have to take my brother and SIL to the airport. They are going home 😞

Saturday starts hell week for us. It's a busy week for fireworks lol.

luv2rn4fun- I hope the potty training goes well. I am not looking forward to that when we get there. And I am jealous of your date, I think DH and I are going to make plans to have a date night as soon as this house goes on the market.

This weekend I had my first dragon boating festival of the year. It felt great to go out and paddle. It was just a small one day festival which was great as I wasn't so sore afterwards. We came in 4th out of 10 teams so that was good.

My ILs are heading out of province to be with my BIL right now. He was wrestling (drunk at a bachelor party) and broke his neck. The specialist says that it's not a bad brake and he doesn't need surgery, but we are looking at a long recovery time. 😞

@related- DD had her 6 month shots today, she now has a fever. I have given her Tylenol and I am just watching her now. She doesn't seem affected by it at all though, which is good.

My H was just informed that his company is slashing their retirement contributions in half starting next month. Wtf!?! They're already below industry standard (H's previous job contributed 14%, I think this job was like 10% and I guess that means only 5% now? Something absurd.) They keep giving executive bonuses, so we don't understand the cut. Thankfully my H is on the receiving end of those bonuses but we planned to use that for home renovations not retirement. This is so lame

H got a call from the ER today that he has an bacteria infection in the blood. Looking at his vitals, no fevers and keeping check on his vitals he isn't septic yet. He goes back to the oral surgeon Wednesday and the ER told him to ask him what to do/make a plan.

I have to go to work an hour early tomorrow and My mind won't shut off. I go in at 6am so I need to be up at 4:45am.

((Hugs)) wineandcheese. I hope your DH is ok. That's super scary (my moms death certificate says she died from being septic, caused from a UTI). I hope your DH gets some answers and recovers quickly. And that you get some sleep.

suzv- sounds like a very long week. ((Hugs)) friend. Your Wednesday and rest of your weeks plans sound amazing! Hope you get some rest tonight/tomorrow and enjoy the rest of your week!

awick14- hope you get a date night in soon! This will be our 4th date in 13ish months (and 3rd in the last 3-4 months). We hardly get out together anymore and it's nice when we do. We also don't get nearly enough "me" time away from the house (I only get time to myself when the kids are asleep and I hardly get to leave...by the time DH is home during the week it's almost my bedtime and we tend to spend time together once the boys are in bed on the weekend). Anyways, I hope you guys get out soon and praying your DD recovers from her shots quickly! Glad to see you are back to the gym and dragon boating!!

luv2rn4fun- DH and I are trying to continue living as much as possible like we did before DD. Obviously with some changes but it's very important to me to not just be a mom.

It is a busy week here! I have a work gala Thursday night, so I need to get a pedicure tomorrow night and I am getting my hair blown straight Wednesday night in preparation, since I have no time to do anything on Thursday to get ready. Friday is another ultrasound, and I am hoping to either have friends over to swim, or go see Cars 3 on Saturday.

Down 3.2 pounds this week! I'm now officially 2 pounds lighter than my lowest weight in 2016!

Today: Clean. Maybe quick errands when DH gets home. I took C out yesterday and we need a solid nap routine today to make up for it!!
Wednesday: "newborn" baby group.
Thursday: Baby & Me pool day (tiny individual pools in a gym but still should be fun).

Otherwise I have to pack. We're going to my parents' for Canada Day

Yesterday and today: work
Tonight: study like mad.
Wednesday: pack, study, laundry, work on further coordination of my sinus surgery this week, get MY FET consents notarized.
Thursday: work, and I'll havbe to find a way to squeeze in pre-op stuff. Pack the car.
Friday is a busy day: 8 am RE appointment for my baseline u/s and bloodwork. Sinus surgery later that day (don't have a time yet). After, we are driving to my ILs for the holiday, which will be nice since my MIL will be a be to take care of me like she loves to do, and the rest of the family will take care of E. I plan to lay on the couch and study.

Nope! that's why we were pushing so hard to get it done quickly. I did confirm it with my nurse last week, and again today.

I thought of that this morning too. Maybe we need to do a weekly post like some other boards I'm on. When we were busier it didn't make sense but now I think it does.
