I've noticed that my mood swings are getting worse and I'm going to blame peri-menopause even though I'm not sure if I have it. Does anyone here take supplements and/or other otc items to help with your own mood swings?

I just noticed that I'm getting a lot more emotional - more quick to cry or get upset. I'm definitely in peri-menopause with my periods going wonky as well as my skin being obnoxious. I'm going to be starting on Sage Complex, which is meant to help with peri-menopause, though not sure it'll help with the emotions. I'll let you know!

So, I thought I'd follow up. I don't think the tablets did much of anything. Oh, well. We'll see as I'm going off them shortly and I'll see if I feel worse.

Have you tried magnesium? When I stop taking it (high dose), I seem to be crying all the time. I also get angry very quickly. Then I take it again, and I am more in control...

I'll try that!
I buy it in France, because it's cheaper there (Chlorure de magnesium) in powder form of 20gr which I dilute in a 1L water bottle - and I drink it over one week. I feel the effect after three weeks.
