Thanx ladies. After the test today, which DD did great during, and talking to the nurse, I feel much better. The nurse says that there is a very small chance that she actually got infected with TB. But they are being over cautious. We will find out on thurs (3:45 PST) if the test is positive or not. They are also going to do an X-ray, which I have to call tomorrow to make an appointment, to check her lungs. I guess in children under 5 they do both tests as they can get false negatives by the skin test. Hopefully she will get in soon.
After I posted yesterday about enjoying my day all hell broke loose. I ended up getting out an hour and a half late. We ran our asses off. It was also the one day H got out of work early so he had to wait for me for once. Except I was so tired that I got home, ate some leftovers and went to bed. Today I'm with a black cloud so let's see what today brings.
luv2rn4fun I'm glad to hear the nursing strike is over. I didn't get a chance to respond earlier but I saw your struggle and I was definitely thinking of you guys!
Thank you! He's all back to normal- so thankful! I didn't really get to wean C on "my terms" (had to wean super fast when I got pregnant with L per RE advice) so I am holding out hope that o have more of a say it in this time around and as of today want to keep going for quite awhile longer.
How are you doing? How's your DS? How is B adjusting to having a little brother? How are you coping with both of them being home? Is your DH able to help you more or still working on projects? Been thinking of you too and wish we lived closer so I could come give you a break. Hang in there- you are doing a great job!
I am doing okay. We had a couple good days but then last night was the worst yet. DS had his two month shots yesterday though, so I'm guessing that had something to do with it. He is growing like a weed- gained well over a pound from last Tuesday to this Tuesday on 98% breast milk (he sometimes gets a 2oz formula bottle before bed if he seems to need it.) So because he's gaining so well I just can't pull the trigger on quitting bfing.
B is doing good- she loves her brother. But because G is having so much issues we've been staying home a lot and I know she's bored. Because she's bored, she acts out and because I never sleep I have no patience for it. It's a viscous cycle. H has been giving her attention when he gets home which is great, but then that means I get no break from G. I broke down crying this morning when H said he had to mow the lawn after work. I said I slept one hour last night while he STTN and I HAVE to nap when he gets home. We'll see what happens. I'm just counting down until sleep training at this point.

((Hugs)) friend. No sleep is the worst. And not having a break from G is hard too. I hope your DH realizes this and gives you a break tonight (we have had similar arguments here and frankly when sleep or a break are needed the lawn can wait...priorities! We fight this all the time though so I feel you).
Also, two month shots were BAD for L, lasted a week. So bad that I was very hesitant to do all 4 month shots at one time but the pedi said better to suck it up and only go through it one time. Thankfully shots haven't been that bad again.
Great news that he is gaining so well!!! Good job mama! Both your kiddos are so lucky to have you! Hang in there!
wineandcheese- the like is for your thoughts not your bad day.
Blue Moon- 2 months shots?!? Does that mean he is 2 months already? Time seems like it's standing still for me but not for everyone else. Lol
I booked an appointment for x-rays for next Thursday. (Earliest I could get her in) So hopefully we will know shortly after that what her results are. The nurse said that there is a greater chance the X-ray would be positive but the scratch test would be negative. So it sucks waiting so long but at least it's not as long as I thought. (Non emergency x-rays here can take 3-4 weeks usually)
I've gotten a lot of errands done the last two days. I dropped DS off for the night at the IL's before my errands today, so now hopefully I can get some cleaning done before I pick him up tomorrow.
awick14 Glad you have an appointment scheduled for the xray. How scary! I hope your dd is okay!
Blue Moon Hugs. Things got much better for us after sleep training. I counted down the weeks until I could do it. I hope things get better for you and you get some sleep! GL getting the BFing to work. You have been working at it so hard I really hope it works!
MIL invited herself to join us for storytime tomorrow. I'm not super excited but oh well. We are going to the children's museum afterwards so that will be fun!
I went to dragon boat practice tonight. (Missed last 2 weeks) The water was so nice and calm when we went out and by the time we were out in the middle of the lake the weather shifted and we started getting huge waves and white caps. It was kinda scary, it was a long time of paddling as you can not stop moving in water like that or you will flip. My arms feel like noodles now. lol
It has been so crazy at work lately. Everyone at work has been talking about how it's not normal like this. Atm, I'm running to the lab real quick for a blood draw while another nurse is watching my patient for me. Blah.
My boss did compliment me on my patient care yesterday. There was a scary situation so I prayed with a family member (he had already prayed with us earlier so I knew it was okay) while we were waiting for news.

I'm off today. I almost feel bad. The state is coming in today to do an inspection. The guy that does our inspections is pretty cool but it's still nerve racking.
I got to spend the morning with H, which was nice. I even got to cook him breakfast. We haven't had breakfast together in a while. In a little while I need to make a grocery store run and get some shredded lettuce for tacos tonight. I also need to clean out my fridge, I'm dreading this!
awick14 I'm glad you were able to get back out in the water! That does sound scary!
H is working a half-day today so we can go to the concert tonight, and then he decided to take PTO tomorrow so we'll have a long weekend together. We've decided to go to the outlet mall tomorrow, since we're hoping it will be less crowded than if we went on Saturday or Sunday.
All of our renos are done now, so I'm doing a mass clean of the house today. (Started yesterday) The real estate agent is coming tomorrow to take pictures! Finally. (I hope he is willing to wait until late afternoon tomorrow as I want to move the trailer out of our yard so that the driveway looks bigger. (And DH needs to do that) Lol
