I am only in the 2 WW to start my first post IUD period. I had regular periods while on it except my most recent one came a week early. My chart says I ovulated on 8/1 (+opk 7/31) and I think I will get my period 8/16ish? Hoping it isnt too horrific.
milsaroo , yes, and it's hard on my SO, too, who feels like it's all I talk about
same here but I think it's because not much has changed for our H's yet. they just get told when to have sex. They don't take temperatures, obsess over everything because they don't have to. when I told my H no more hot tubs he pouted for a hot second until I reminded him all the ways my life has already changed due to TTC and all the times I've been poked and prodded already.

CD1 today. I'm so annoyed that my luteal phase seems to be on the short side (12 days). It probably doesn't matter all that much but something I'll ask the RE about this week. We see them for the first time on Wednesday.
seeyalater52 - my RE didn't seem concerned about my luteal phase (11-12 days) and said typically with a luteal phase defect it is much shorter.
I am relieved to hear that. I have been able to pinpoint any ovulation except for this month so I don't have a sense of how consistently it is this length but we have enough issues without borrowing any trouble! Thank you so much for sharing that, it put my anxious mind at ease today.
(P.S. I hope you love your RE, but if you don't, I have a large network of lesbian friends from college in the Boston area, many of whom have done IVF, if you need a new rec at any point. Probably you do, too, but just in case.)

Thank you! In this area it can feel like there are too many options and they're all pretty experienced in working with lesbian couples so it is a little overwhelming. We went with the smaller, second most famous huge practice in the area because of friends' experiences, including my very close (straight) friend who had her son by IVF and saw this exact same doctor in the practice we are going to - she looooooved her so I'm hoping we feel similarly! Also helpful that they have a location in my state so we can do office visits closer by and not have to travel all over the place on procedure days.

Follicle study today: lining was much better on the Femara (9mm). 14mm follicle on the left 18mm on the right. Will do trigger shot tomorrow and enter the 2ww Wednesday, I guess. Hope everyone's doing well!
somersault72 that's great!! I think we are going to do the first few months on Femara w/o trigger and see how it goes. I am ~11-12DPO right now and expecting AF any minute.
