Wouldn't this upset almost everyone in the state? Dems will obviously be pissed that he turned, and R's will say, "Well, but he's really a dem who is just opportunistic". He seems messy, and this seems like a bad idea.
I just got back from protesting the Trump rally and I'll tell you that Justice's announcement got cheers from the crowd. The protestors I spoke too were unhappy, but kind of expected it as he's been Republican most of his life. Mediocre white billionaires who inherited their wealth need to stick together 🤷♀️
THanks for protesting. Justice is an opportunist in the bad way, unlike the Rockefellers who were opportunists in a good way. At least in 4 years, we can run someone against him. The repubs are now stuck with him as their candidate.

That was the silver lining I saw. I was surprised at how peaceful the protests were (though several protestors intentionally got arrested and there was one fight that I saw). Overall, I thought the crowds on both sides were pretty weak. I was disappointed at the number of people in Huntington who oppose trump but chose to stay home (I got told by several people "spend some time with your kids (that I don't have) or volunteer"). And these are people on our side!

I am slightly guilty of this, I traded shifts with someone so they could go protest and I worked instead. I was down there earlier in the day though. There were idiots selling confederate flags. God bless America.
