Bummer RITS . But truly, you aren't out yet. Implantation at 10 or 11 DPO would be very common, and with a doubling in 48 hours, your miu might not be enough to show up until 14 or 15 DPO.
compassrose I'm hoping! Just keeping expectations low... spreading the disappointment over a few days instead of a crash when AF shows. Still haven't decided which is worse.
I agree with you, 11 & 12dpo are awful. I hope this is your cycle! Keep us updated!

I am pretty sure I ovulated yesterday, which means I'm in the fake TWW (not trying this cycle.) It is the most exciting TWW to date because we are going to finally order our sperm! We are having a really hard time deciding on a donor so we will bite the bullet at last and pay for the enhanced profiles in hopes that pics and additional info will help us to narrow it down. It feels like a huge task though because that info is so expensive and expires after 90 days so we need to make a big list of ranked donor choices so we don't have to keep paying it if we need to reorder more vials and our top choice sells out. Big project!
Does anyone stop temping after confirmed O? I feel like it's making me obsessive. Looking at my chart makes me hopeful then the BFN's are sobering. Emotional rollercoaster and I wonder why I keep doing it to myself.
sorry somersault72 - RITS, I've stopped temping all together. It was turning me into a crazy person! Thankfully I'm (fairly) consistent on when I ovulate so if we do EOD we will hit within a few tries. Now that we've moved on to medicated cycles it's a bit of a moot point all together since the RE tells us when to time things.

For me, (T)TTC is mindfuck no matter how I go about it. For me, having those temps at the end invariably raises my hopes 11 and 12 DPO, but helps me to not test 13 and 14DPO when my temp goes down (I usually have a 15 day luteal phase). It turns out I really hate BFNs from testing early, so it's a better way for me. But I am a scientist and I like having data. I think whatever works for you is the right thing.

If your spotting has gotten heavy enough that you might need to start using a pad but the spotting isn't red, would you consider it CD1? Or would you wait until you see red before you move on to a new cycle?
katespade - that's a tricky one. For me, even a bit of spotting always means my period is coming so I typically mark CD1 that day or the following but that may not be the case for you.
larzhope - Yeah, I don't usually spot before CD1. I usually go straight from nothing to heavy flow with no warning. I've been spotting for over a week now and I keep expecting CD1 to show up the way it usually does, but it hasn't yet.
somersault72 - I have an appt with my endocrinologist today. They're in the same office as my GYN, so I think I'll ask about getting an appt scheduled with her while I'm there.
Made an appt with my GYN, but her next opening wasn't until 10/11. I guess we'll just KOKO until then.
Your gyn is an OB too? I figure it's not CD1 until it's red but sometimes it's damn hard to know.
She's semi-retired so she doesn't do OB care anymore, but she understands my complicated medical history so the plan is for her to stay my doctor until I get pregnant. Then I'll transfer to someone else in her practice for prenatal care.
