It's big and it's sideways but what the heck. I broke down and let them have their way (to an extent) with their hair. They behaved, did as I asked (for the most part) and so I agreed to let them color their hair. Introducing Ariel and Rainbow Unicorn hair. (And yes, Ariel has nicer clothes than this but she wanted to wear the boots and I refused to let her wear them with red and black, not when she has black ones that would match and look better, dadblameit!)

And in possibly the most tween move ever, Julia left for school while I was out dropping Emma off, before I could take her picture or say goodbye. So I don't have a picture of her leaving for her first day of middle school.
DS1 started first grade Tuesday. DS2 started PK4 today. DS2 gets to walk in with DS1 now and DS1 gets to collect him after school and bring him out the "big kid" exit. He's so excited for this new responsibility.
